ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը նախօրեին հավաքել է իր թիմին, մասնավորապես «Հայաստան» դաշինքի խորհրդարանական ֆրակցիային: Մի քանի ժամ տևած հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել դաշինքի կենտրոնական գրասենյակում և ձգվել է մինչև ուշ երեկո: Ըստ դաշինքից տարածած տեղեկությունների, քննարկել են ինչպես ներքաղաքական հարցեր, այնպես էլ աշխարհաքաղաքական հնարավոր զարգացումները և դրանց ազդեցությունը տարածաշրջանի և Հայաստանի վրա։ Նախագահի մասնակցությամբ ֆրակցիայի նման նիստերը պարբերական բնույթ են կրում։

Ուշագրավ է, որ հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել ԱՄՆ-ում հանրապետական Դոնալդ Թրամփի հաղթանակից հետո, երբ այլևս պարզ են եղել, թե ինչ զարգացումներ են սպասվում, այդ թվում՝ մեր տարածաշրջանում։

Մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, հանդիպումը մի քանի ժամ է տևել։ Քոչարյանը պարբերաբար է հավաքներ կազմակերպում, բայց հիմնականում փոքր կազմով՝ դաշինքի խորհրդով, իսկ այս դեպքում ընդլայնված հավաք է եղել, նշել են, որ նոր իրավիճակում Հարավային Կովկասում ռուսների ազդեցությունը կարող է վերականգնվել, նաև Հայաստանի վրա։ Քոչարյանը չի բացառել, որ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները գնան արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների եկող տարի։ Եթե Հայաստանը չանցնի ՌԴ վերահսկողության տակ, կարող է մեկուսացվել։ ՌԴ Արտաքին հետախուզության ծառայության վերջին զգուշացումն էլ վկայում է, որ Մոսկվան ինչ-որ զարգացումներ է պատրաստում, և հայաստանյան ընդդիմադիր ուժերը ևս պետք է պատրաստ լինեն դրանց։
