ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը դեռ չի ձևավորել կենտրոնացված աշխատանքային խումբ՝ ռուս-ուկրաինական հակամարտությունը դադարեցնելու պլան մշակելու համար, սակայն առանձին խորհրդականներն առաջարկում են իրենց տարբերակները, գրում է Reuters-ը՝ վկայակոչելով դրանցից երեքը։

Առաջիններից որ ուսումնասիրվում է, պաշտոնաթող գեներալ Քիթ Քելլոգի առաջարկած պլանն է: Թրամփը Քելլոգին նշանակել է Ուկրաինայի հարցով հատուկ բանագնաց։ Քելլոգի գաղափարն է ստիպել Ուկրաինային և Ռուսաստանին վերսկսել բանակցությունները՝ որպես լծակ օգտագործելով ԱՄՆ-ի օգնությունն Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերին։

Միևնույն ժամանակ ենթադրվում է, որ բանակցությունների սկզբնական փուլում կլինի ռազմաճակատի երկայնքով ռազմական գործողությունների սառեցում և մի քանի տարի Ուկրաինային ՆԱՏՕ չընդունելու պարտավորություն։

Մեկ այլ տարբերակ մշակվել է ապագա փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Վենսի կողմից: Մանրամասները չեն հստակեցվել, սակայն նա հրապարակավ առաջարկել է հետևյալը՝ Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի միջև ռազմաճակատի երկայնքով ապառազմականացված գոտու ստեղծում, ինչպես նաև վերջինիս չեզոք կարգավիճակի պահպանման երաշխիքներ։

Մեկ այլ նախաձեռնության հեղինակ է Ռիչարդ Գրենելը, որը համարվում էր հատուկ բանագնացի թեկնածու։ Նա առաջարկել է որոշակի «ինքնավար գոտիներ» ստեղծել՝ որպես խաղաղության համաձայնագրի մաս և դեմ է Ուկրաինայի՝ ՆԱՏՕ մտնելուն։

Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին, որը խաղաղության բանակցությունները վերսկսելու պայման է համարում վերադարձը 1991 թվականի սահմաններին,  պնդել է, որ նախքան զինադադարը, Ուկրաինան պետք է ՆԱՏՕ-ից հրավեր ստանա։ Ուկրաինայի ԱԳՆ-ն մերժել է անվտանգության ցանկացած այլ երաշխիք։ Այդուհանդերձ, Ռուսաստանը բանակցությունների պայման է համարում Կիևի՝ Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքին միանալուց հրաժարվելը։
