Չդիմացան երկար «համաժողվրդական» լիդերներն իրենց «ժողովրդի» կողքին: Երկու անգամ եկան, երևացին, խոսեցին, կատակեցին, Րաֆֆուն նեղ վիճակի մեջ դրեցին և հավանաբար մտածեցին, թե այդքանն էլ բավական է: Արդեն ձմեռ է, ցուրտ է, էլ փողոց դուրս գալու կարիք չկա, համ էլ նման բաների համար Րաֆֆի կա և միայն նրա ներկայությունն էլ հերիք կլինի: Կարևորը՝ մի խումբ մարդիկ արդեն տեսել են, որ իրենք «ժողովրդական» են, «ժողովրդի հետ» են, դեմ են «ավազակապետությանը» և «հանցավոր ռեժիմին»:
Այսպիսով, Գագիկ Ծառուկյանն ու Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը չեն մասնակցելու ՀԱԿ-ի այսօրվա հանրահավաք-երթին. լրատվամիջոցներին այդպես են հայտնել նրանց ներկայացուցիչները: Ծառուկյանի դեպքում էլի կարելի է հասկանալ՝ մարդը գործարար է, բիզնեսներ ունի, փող է աշխատում, հնարավոր է՝ շատ զբաղված է, միգուցե հանդիպումներ ունի, բացի այդ Ծառուկյանը ժամանակին ազնվորեն ասել է, որ ինքը ընդդիմադիր չէ, հետևաբար պարտավոր էլ չէ մասնակցել ընդդիմության երթերին: Նա «այլընտրանք» է, այսինքն՝ երբեմն կարող է հանրահավաքի մասնակցել, երբեմն էլ՝ երկրի նախագահին ուղեկցել օդանավակայան, իհարկե այլընտրանքի դեպքում սա նորմալ է: Իսկ այ հետաքրքիր է, թե ի՞նչ պատճառով չի մասնակցելու ԼՏՊ-ն, միգուցե զբաղված է նոր քաղաքագիտական վերլուծություն գրելո՞վ: Եվ բնավ չեմ զարմանա, եթե վերջում իր չմասնակցելը Տեր-Պետրոսյանը կապի օրինակ` ռեժիմի խուճապի հետ, քանի որ ռեժիմն ամեն դեպքում խուճապի մեջ է, և դա անշրջելի է:
Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանն այս հանրահավաքին կարող է հանգիստ լինել, քանի որ ոչ ոք նրա վրա բռնցքամարտի հնարքներ չի փորձի, ոչ ոք չի փորձի ծաղրի ենթարկել: Նույնիսկ տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ Րաֆֆիին հենց այս «սև գործի» համար էլ պահում են: «Սև գործն» էլ իրենց համակիրների կողքին լինելն է, պարզապես այդ համակիրների քանակը գնալով քչանում է և միտում ունի մրցունակ դառնալու Պարույր Հայրիկյանի համակիրների քանակի հետ:
