Կալիֆոռնիայի հարավում շաբաթից ավելի մոլեգնող անտառային հրդեհների դեմ հրշեջներից բացի պայքարում է ավելի քան 1,000 բանտարկյալ և բանտերի 127 աշխատակից:

Ինչպես նշում է nbcnews.com-ը, նրանք աշխատում են գիշերվա ընթացքում՝ անտառային հրդեհները զսպելու համար, ըստ Կալիֆորնիայի ուղղիչ և վերականգնողական դեպարտամենտի:

Ավելի վաղ ամերիկյան իրապատում շոուների աստղ Քիմ Քարդաշյանն առանձնահատուկ շնորհակալություն էր հայտնել բանտարկյալներին, որոնք ներգրավված են Կալիֆոռնիայի հարավային հատվածում մոլեգնող սաստիկ անտառային հրդեհների դեմ պայքարում: Նա նաև նշել էր, որ բանտարկյալ հրշեջներին 1984 թվականից ի վեր ժամում 1 դոլար են վճարում՝ «իրենց կյանքը վտանգելու համար»: Քարդաշյանը դիմել էր նահանգապետ Գևին Նյուսոմին՝ կոչ անելով բարձրացնել այս մարդկանց համար ժամավճարը:

Նշենք, որ հունվարի 7-ից մոլեգնող հրդեհների հետևանքով զոհվել է 24 մարդ:
