Hayordi Camp is the May beneficiary of The Power of One Dram
Society
“The Power of One Dram” summed up the results of April and, as previously announced, the entire amount collected — 4,919,726 drams — was directed to the “4090” charitable foundation, which deals with the social and educational issues of boys who participated in the wars.
And the May beneficiary is the annual “Hayordi” camp, which was created after 2020 to unite and support the children of the families of heroes who died in the war. It should be noted that the “Hayordi” camp is the largest program of the foundation of the same name, which is held every summer in Hankavan and hosts more than 300 children aged 6–13 from different regions of Armenia and Artsakh under its roof.
Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Communication and CSR Programs Department at Idram and IDBank, notes, “We are looking forward to the ‘Hayordi’ camp with great impatience, as it is a wonderful opportunity to meet again and communicate with children who have already become close to us—children who, after overcoming the most difficult trials of life, seem to be returning to a normal childhood. I would like to note that in addition to the financial component, we will also join the camp with an educational program and will conduct an interesting and important course on financial literacy with the children. By the way, ‘The Power of One Dram’ and ‘Hayordi’ are of the same age, and this year we are celebrating our 5th anniversary. I congratulate and am glad that this entire period has been filled with many important collaborations for both sides.”
According to the founder of the “Hayordi” Foundation, Vache Vardanyan, “The Power of One Dram” was one of the first to stand by the foundation. “From the very first day of the 44-day war, IDBank and Idram have proven through various initiatives and programs that the most important value is a person—being by the side of the families of the Armenian sons who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland. I am very happy that they are our partners and are always by our children’s side. We are grateful to ‘The Power of One Dram’ for doing good for years and for being by the side of the families of our heroes,” noted Vache Vardanyan.
