Պաղեստինցի ներգաղթյալների թիվը երկրի ներսում և այլ երկրներում գերազանցում է 7 միլիոնը։ Այս մասին ասվում է Պաղեստինի նախագահ Մահմուդ Աբասի ելույթում՝ արաբա-իսրայելական առաջին պատերազմում արաբական կողմի պարտության հիշատակի օրը, փոխանցում է  ՏԱՍՍ-ը։
