Իսպանիայի ազգային հավաքականի կիսապաշտպան Պեդրին մեկնաբանել է Ֆրանսիայի դեմ ՈւԵՖԱ-ի Ազգերի լիգայի կիսաեզրափակչում տարած 5:4 հաշվով հաղթանակը:

«Մինչև վերջին վայրկյանները նյարդային լարվածությունը չէր լքում մեզ։ Նման խաղ նույնիսկ չէինք կարող պատկերացնել։ Մենք խաղին չէինք տիրապետում այնպես, ինչպես կցանկանայինք, բայց արդյունավետ էինք։ Վաղվանից արդեն կսկսեմ մտածել եզրափակչի մասին։ Դա հեշտ չի լինելու, բայց սա հերթական եզրափակիչն է, և մենք պետք է պատրաստ լինենք»,-ասել է Պեդրին ՈՒԵՖԱ-ի մամուլի ծառայությանը:

Խոսելով իր խփած գոլի մասին՝ Պեդրին ավելացրել է․ «Գնդակի ընդունումը կատարյալ չէր, բայց ես իմպրովիզացիա արեցի։ Առաջին բանը, որ մտքովս անցավ, արեցի։ Ամենակարևորն այն էր, որ Նիկո Ուիլյամսը ճիշտ ժամանակին փոխանցում կատարեց, ես հասա գնդակին և փորձեցի այն մի փոքր բարձրացնել, քանի որ դարպասապահը սովորաբար ոտքը թողնում է՝ գոլը փրկելու հույսով։ Արդյունքում՝ գեղեցիկ գոլ ստացվեց, բայց ամենակարևորը՝ այն օգնեց թիմին, ինչն ամենակարևորն է»։

Պեդրին նաև ընդգծել է թիմի ամուր ոգին՝ չնայած դժվարություններին․ «Ամենակարևորը հաղթանակն է և եզրափակիչ դուրս գալը։ Սակայն նման գոլեր բաց թողնելը ցույց է տալիս, որ մենք դեռ բարելավելու տեղ ունենք, հատկապես խաղի վերջին րոպեներին։ Կցանկանայի, որ այդպես չլիներ։ Ինչևէ, կարևորն այն է, որ մենք կրկին եզրափակչում ենք։ Պետք է վայելենք այս պահը, քանի որ այս հավաքականը վերջին շրջանում միշտ հասնում է եզրափակիչներ»։

Ազգերի լիգայի եզրափակչում Իսպանիայի հավաքականը կմրցի Պորտուգալիայի դեմ։ Հանդիպումը տեղի կունենա կիրակի՝ հունիսի 8-ին։
