Հունիսի 17-ին Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին տոնեց Սուրբ Գայանյանց կույսերի հիշատակը:

Բերկրառատ տոնի առիթով առավոտյան Վեհարանից եկեղեցականների հանդիսավոր թափորն առաջնորդվեց դեպի Սուրբ Գայանե վանք: Թափորը մինչև Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի կամար գլխավորեց Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը՝ նահատակ սրբուհու մասունքն ամփոփող Աջով օրհնելով բարեպաշտ ժողովրդին:

Այնուհետև Վեհափառ Հայրապետը մասունքակիր Աջը փոխանցեց Մայր Աթոռի լուսարարապետ Հոգեշնորհ Տ. Անանիա վարդապետ Ծատուրյանին:

Սուրբ Գայանե վանքի առջև թափորը դիմավորեցին Մայր Աթոռի Վանորեից տեսուչ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Արտակ եպիսկոպոս Տիգրանյանը, վանքի հոգևոր սպասավորներն ու բազմաթիվ հավատավոր հայորդիներ:

Օրվա խորհրդի առիթով Սուրբ Գայանե վանքում մատուցվեց Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագ: Պատարագիչն էր Իտալիայի հայ համայնքի հոգևոր հովիվ Հոգեշնորհ Տ․ Ներսես աբեղա Հարությունյանը։

Պատարագի սրբազան արարողությանը մասնակցում էին միաբանական համագումարի առիթով աշխարհի բոլոր կողմերից Սուրբ Էջմիածին ժամանած Մայր Աթոռի միաբանները և բազմաթիվ ուխտավոր հայորդիներ։

Իր քարոզում Հայր Սուրբը, անդրադառնալով Սուրբ Գայանյանց կույսերի վարքին ու գործունեությանը, ընդգծեց, որ նրանց նահատակությամբ քրիստոնեության լույսն ու աստվածային ճշմարտությունը սփռվեց Հայաստան աշխարհում, և դարձան առ Աստված իրական սիրո վկաներ։

Վերջում Հայր Ներսեսը պատգամեց հավատավոր ժողովրդին մշտապես հայցել Սուրբ Գայանեի բարեխոսությունն իրենց հոգևոր կյանքի զորացման, առ Հիսուս Քրիստոս հավատքով ամրանալու և Տիրոջն անսասանորեն հավատարիմ մնալու համար։

Ս. Պատարագի ավարտին Սուրբ Գայանե վանքի բակում Արտակ եպիսկոպոսի նախագահությամբ սրբուհու մասունքակիր Աջով կատարվեց հավատացյալների օրհնություն և Անդաստանի կարգ:
