53-ամյա Մուրիլո Բենիսիոն, ով «Կլոն» հեռուստասերիալում մարմնավորում էր Լուկասին, մանկուց երազում էր դերասան դառնալու մասին: Նրան ոգեշնչում էին Չարլի Չապլինի մասնակցությամբ ֆիլմերը: 18 տարեկանում նա մեկնել է Միացյալ Նահանգներ՝ դերասանական արվեստ սովորելու, բայց չկարողանալով հաստատվել Հոլիվուդում, Բենիսիոն վերադարձել է Բրազիլիա: 1990-ականների երկրորդ կեսին նա սկսել է ակտիվորեն նկարահանվել, իսկ 2001 թվականին թողարկվել է այն սերիալը, որը նրան դարձրեց աստղ՝ լեգենդար «Կլոնը»: Հաջողությանը զուգահեռ փոփոխություններ են եղել նաև նրա անձնական կյանքում. նա սկսել է ծառայողական սիրավեպ իր զուգընկերուհի Ջովաննա Անտոնելիի հետ: Այդ ժամանակ Մուրիլոն արդեն ուներ ամուսնալուծված ամուսնություն, որդի, և անհաջող սիրավեպ դերասանուհի Կարոլինա Ֆերասի հետ, որը լքել է նրան՝ չկարողանալով դիմանալ Բենիսիոյի խանդին:

2005 թվականին Ջովաննան և Մուրիլոն ունեցել են որդի՝ Պիետրոն, բայց զույգը բաժանվել է նույն թվականին: Դերասանուհի Դեբորա Ֆալաբելլայի հետ ընտանեկան երջանկություն կառուցելու փորձը նույնպես անհաջող էր. 2020 թվականից ի վեր դերասանը հանդիպում է գրող և սցենարիստ Մանուելա Դիասի հետ։
