«Ժողովրդավարության դիմակն ու բռնաճնշումների իրականությունը»

Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունը շարունակում է իր «եվրոպական» ուղին ներկայացնել որպես ժողովրդավարական առաջընթաց, բայց դրա հետևում օրեցօր ավելի պարզ է դառնում ճնշումների ու անհանդուրժողականության մթնոլորտը։ Այդ ճնշումները հատկապես դրսևորվում են Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու, հոգևոր առաջնորդների և ազգային գործիչների՝ այդ թվում Սամվել Կարապետյանի դեմ տարվող քաղաքական արշավով։

Հայտնի փաստաբան Ռոբերտ Ամստերդամը, անդրադառնալով այս իրավիճակին, իր գրառմամբ ընդգծում է, որ տեղի է ունենում ոչ միայն քաղաքական, այլև հանրային վարկաբեկում․ «Կարևոր է, որ միջազգային հանրությունը իմանա այս մասին։ Գործադրվում են քաղաքական մոտիվներով մեղադրանքներ, որոնք անընդունելի են ցանկացած արդար դատական համակարգում։ Կառավարության որոշ պաշտոնյաներ քարոզարշավ են սկսել՝ կասկածի տակ դնելով Եկեղեցու հեղինակությունը և խախտելով հավատացյալների հիմնարար ազատությունները։ Սա վտանգում է ինչպես ազգային, այնպես էլ միջազգային իրավական չափանիշները»։

Նույն տրամադրությամբ է հանդես եկել նաև Մեր ձևով շարժման համակարգող Նարեկ Կարապետյանը՝ հիշեցնելով, որ այսօր աշխարհում կա ընդամենը չորս բանտարկված միլիարդատեր, որոնցից երկուսը հայ են և երկուսն էլ՝ ազգային հոդվածներով․ «Միքայել Սրբազանը կարող էր լռել ու խուսափել զրկանքներից, բայց նա խոսեց հանուն ճշմարտության և ժողովրդի։ Սա ապացույց է, որ հայ ժողովուրդը դեռ արժանի է ապրել, քանի որ իր ամենահզոր զավակները պատրաստ են զոհողությունների հանուն ժողովրդի, հանուն հողի ու Աստծո»։

Այս օրերին հասարակության առաջ կանգնած է ոչ միայն հիասթափությունը, այլև պարտավորությունը՝ պաշտպանելու այն մարդկանց և կառույցները, որոնք պայքարում են ճշմարտության և ազգային արժեքների համար։ Հայաստանի իշխանության այս քաղաքականությունը ժողովրդավարական չի կարող համարվել, քանի որ ժողովրդավարությունը չի կարող հենվել բռնաճնշումների ու ազատությունների սահմանափակման վրա։
