Փաշինյանի հակաեկեղեցական կոալիցիան ճաքեր է տալիս։ Նրա ստեղծած «Եկեղեցու բարենորոգման խորհրդի» առանցքային անդամներից մեկը, ըստ էության, լքում է այն՝ վերադառնալով եկեղեցու գիրկը։ Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի Արևմտյան թեմի առաջնորդ Հովնան արքեպիսկոպոս Տերտերյանը հայտարարել է, որ փետրվարի 16-19-ին կմասնակցի Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովին, որը Մայր Աթոռը հրավիրել է Ավստրիայում։ Հովնան արքեպիսկոպոս Տերտերյանը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին միացած եպիսկոպոսներից մեկն է։

Ավելի վաղ նրանք հայտարարել էին, որ չեն մասնակցելու Ավստրիայի Սանկտ Փյոլթըն քաղաքում Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովին և կոչ էին արել, որ Մայր Աթոռը չեղարկի այն։ Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի Արևմտյան թեմի կայքում տեղադրված հայտարարությունից պարզ չէ՝ արդյոք Հովնան արքեպիսկոպոսը լքել է «Եկեղեցու բարենորոգման խորհուրդը», որի կազմում է նաև Կաթողիկոսի հրաժարականը պահանջող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։

Հայտարարությունում միայն նշված է, որ Հովնան արքեպիսկոպոսը Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովից հետո՝ փետրվարի 20-21-ին, կմասնակցի նաև Գերագույն հոգևոր խորհրդի ժողովին։ Տերտերյանը միակը չէ, որ մենակ է թողնելու Փաշինյանին։ Մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ՝ այդ «խորհրդի» երկու այլ անդամներ ևս ցանկություն ունեն թոթափել դավաճանության խարանն ու վերստին հավատարմություն հայտնել Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին։

Ընդ որում, Փաշինյանն այդ փաստից այնպիսի հիստերիայի մեջ է հայտնվել, որ անձամբ զանգահարել է տատանվող եպիսկոպոսներին, սպառնացել կալանավորել նրանց։ Գործող իշխանությունները նաև մտադիր են ավելի խստացնել Մասսյացոտնում և այլ թեմերում հետապնդումները կաթողիկոսին հավատարիմ հոգևորականների նկատմամբ, որպեսզի թե՛ լրացնեն իրենց շարքերը, թե՛ ահաբեկեն մյուսներին, թեպետ այս գործողություններն արդեն անհուսորեն ժամկետանց են և որևէ իրական արդյունք Փաշինյանին չեն բերելու։
