Մեր առևտրային համաձայնագրերը շատ կարևոր են Ամերիկայի համար։ Այս համաձայնագրերից յուրաքանչյուրում մենք արագ միջոցներ ենք ձեռնարկել մեր մաքսատուրքերն իջեցնելու համար՝ համաձայնեցված գործարքին համապատասխան։ Մենք, իհարկե, մեր առևտրային գործընկերներից ակնկալում ենք նույնը։ Այս մասին գրել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը սոցիալական էջում:

«Հարավային Կորեայի օրենսդիր մարմինը չի կատարում Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ կնքված համաձայնագրի պահանջները։ Նախագահ Լին և ես 2025 թվականի հուլիսի 30-ին հասանք երկու երկրների համար կնքված «Մեծ համաձայնագրի», և մենք վերահաստատեցինք այդ պայմանները, երբ ես Կորեայում էի 2025 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 29-ին։ Ինչո՞ւ Կորեայի օրենսդիր մարմինը չի հաստատել այն։

Քանի որ Կորեայի օրենսդիր մարմինը չի ընդունել մեր պատմական առևտրային համաձայնագիրը, որը նրանց իրավասությունն է, ես սույնով բարձրացնում եմ Հարավային Կորեայի ավտոմեքենաների, փայտանյութի, դեղագործական և մնացած բոլոր փոխադարձ մաքսատուրքերը 15%-ից 25%», - նշել է Թրամփը:
