Միացյալ Նահանգներն առաջարկել է ավարտել պատերազմը մինչև ամառվա սկիզբ, քանի որ հետագայում նրանք կունենան այլ առաջնահերթություն՝ ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի ընտրությունները:

Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ասել է Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին, փոխանցում է urointegration.com-ը։

Զելենսկու խոսքով՝ ամերիկացիները «կողմերին առաջարկում են պատերազմն ավարտել մինչեւ այս ամառվա սկիզբը, եւ, հավանաբար, կողմերին ճնշում կգործադրեն հենց նման ժամանակացույցի համաձայն»:

Նա հավելել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ում ներքին հարցերն էլ ավելի արդիական կդառնան ամերիկացի բանակցողների համար:

Զելենսկու կարծիքով՝ Ուկրաինայի համար ցանկալի է, որ ԱՄՆ-ը դուրս չգա բանակցություններից, և ռուսաստանցիներին նույնպես այսօր պետք է, որ ամերիկացիները մնան:

«Ինչ վերաբերում է ամերիկացիներին, ապա նրանք հաստատ այլ առաջնահերթություն կունենան՝ Կոնգրեսը։ Եվ մենք հասկանում ենք, որ նրանք իրենց ամբողջ ժամանակը տալու են հենց ներքին գործընթացներին՝ ընտրություններին, իրենց հասարակության տրամադրությունների փոփոխությանը։ Ընտրությունները նրանց համար հաստատ ավելի կարևոր են»,-պարզաբանել է Զելենսկին։
