Գաստրոնոմիական մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանման, կայուն տարածքային զարգացման և համայնքահեն տնտեսական դիմակայունության շնորհիվ Հայաստանը միացել է «Գաստրոնոմիայի համաշխարհային տարածաշրջան» հարթակին՝ որպես 2028 թվականի մրցանակի թեկնածու։

Հայաստանը Կովկասի տարածաշրջանից առաջինն է, որը դիմել է այս միջազգային ճանաչմանը, որը համակարգվում է Գաստրոնոմիայի, մշակույթի, արվեստների և զբոսաշրջության միջազգային ինստիտուտի (IGCAT) կողմից։ Հարթակին միանալով՝ Հայաստանը դառնում է այն տարածաշրջանների գլոբալ ցանցի մաս, որոնք սնունդն ու գաստրոնոմիան դիտարկում են որպես ինքնության ձևավորման, սոցիալական համախմբման, կրթության և պատասխանատու զբոսաշրջության հզոր շարժիչ ուժեր։ Որպես «Գաստրոնոմիայի համաշխարհային տարածաշրջան 2028» թեկնածու՝ Հայաստանը պարտավորվում է համագործակցել հարթակի մյուս տարածաշրջանների հետ՝ խթանելու կայուն սննդային համակարգերը, ամրապնդելու տեղական արժեքային շղթաները, աջակցելու սննդային կրթությանն ու հետազոտություններին, զորեղացնելու երիտասարդներին և ստեղծարար ոլորտները, ինչպես նաև դիրքավորելու գաստրոնոմիան որպես միջմշակութային երկխոսության և ներառական զարգացման գործիք։

Հայաստանի թեկնածությունն ընդգծում է խոհարարական ժառանգությունը, որը ձևավորվել է հազարամյակների գյուղատնտեսական գիտելիքի, բազմազան լանդշաֆտների և խորապես արմատավորված սննդային ավանդույթների շնորհիվ։ Լեռնային տեռուարներից և վայրի բաղադրիչներից մինչև հացթխման մշակույթ, պահպանման տեխնիկաներ, հյուրընկալության ծեսեր ու տոնական խոհանոց. հայկական գաստրոնոմիան մարմնավորում է հողի, մշակույթի և համայնքի ամուր կապը։ Այս սննդային ավանդույթները շարունակաբար կարևոր դեր են խաղում գյուղական կենսապահովման, սերնդեսերունդ գիտելիքի փոխանցման և տեղական ինքնության պահպանման գործում։

Թեկնածությունն աջակցվում է բազմազան և համագործակցային շահակիցների ցանցի կողմից, որը միավորում է փորձառություն բնապահպանական գործունեության, տեղական ինքնակառավարման, զբոսաշրջության, կրթության և հյուրընկալության ոլորտներից։

Միանալով «Գաստրոնոմիայի համաշխարհային տարածաշրջան» հարթակին՝ Հայաստանը ներկայացնում է առաջադեմ տեսլական, որը գաստրոնոմիան դիտարկում է ոչ միայն որպես ժառանգություն, այլ որպես կենդանի համակարգ, որը կարող է արձագանքել կայունության, կրթության և տարածքային համախմբման ժամանակակից մարտահրավերներին։ 2028 թվականի թեկնածությունն ապահովում է միջազգային հարթակ՝ ներկայացնելու Հայաստանի հարուստ սննդային մշակույթը, ստեղծարարությունը և կայուն, ներառական ու ապագային ուղղված սննդային համակարգերի ձևավորման հանդեպ հանձնառությունը՝ միաժամանակ ամրապնդելով համագործակցությունը ինստիտուտների, համայնքների և գաստրոնոմիական ոլորտի միջև։
