Իրանի ԱԳ նախարար Աբբաս Արաղչին Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ԱԳ նախարար Իվետ Կուպերի հետ հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում Լոնդոնից պահանջել է զերծ մնալ Թեհրանի դեմ ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի գործողություններին աջակցելուց, հայտնել է Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը, հաղորդում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի-ն:

Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Կիր Սթարմերը մարտի 2-ին հայտնել էր, որ Լոնդոնն ընդունել է Վաշինգտոնի խնդրանքը՝ օգտագործել պետության ռազմական բազաները Իրանում հրթիռների պահեստներին հարվածներ հասցնելու համար: Միացյալ Թագավորության պաշտպանության նախարարությունը մարտի 7-ին հաստատել էր, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներն սկսել են օգտագործել Բրիտանիայի բազաները Իրանի դեմ գործողությունում:

«Արաղչին պահանջել է, որ բրիտանական իշխանությունները զերծ մնան ԱՄՆ-ի և սիոնիստական վարչակարգի հետ ցանկացած համագործակցությունից՝ ռազմական և մեդիա օգնություն տրամադրելու հարցերում»,- ասված է Իրանի ԱԳՆ-ի հրապարակած հայտարարության մեջ:

Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարը նաև քննադատել է Մեծ Բրիտանիային՝ ԱՄՆ-ին բազաներ տրամադրելու համար՝ հայտարարելով, որ նման քայլերը դիտարկվում են որպես հանցակցություն Թեհրանի դեմ իրականացվող ագրեսիային:

Մեկնաբանելով իրավիճակը Հորմուզի նեղուցում և Մերձավոր Արևելքում՝ Արաղչին կրկին ընդգծել է, որ իրավիճակը կարող է կարգավորվել Իրանի դեմ հարձակումների դադարեցման դեպքում, իսկ հակամարտության ավարտը պետք է ուղեկցվի երաշխիքներով, որ այն չի կրկնվի:
