Ֆլորիդայի մեկնարկային հարթակում Blue Origin ընկերության հրթիռի հզոր պայթյունը կարող է լրջորեն խաթարել տիեզերագնացներին Լուսին վերադարձնելու և այնտեղ մշտական կայան հիմնելու ԱՄՆ-ի ծրագրերը։ Այս մասին գրում է Politico պարբերականը։

Միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել Կանավերալ հրվանդանի տիեզերակայանում՝ «New Glenn» ծանր հրթիռի կրակային փորձարկումների նախապատրաստման ժամանակ։ Պայթյունի հետևանքով ոչ միայն ոչնչացվել է հենց հրթիռը, այլև վնասվել է ընկերության միակ գործող մեկնարկային հարթակը։

Մասնագետների գնահատմամբ՝ ենթակառուցվածքների վերականգնումը կարող է ամիսներ տևել։ Սա վտանգի տակ է դնում NASA-ի լուսնային «Artemis» ծրագրի ժամանակացույցը, որի շրջանակում Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմը մտադիր է ամերիկացի տիեզերագնացներին Լուսնի մակերևույթ հասցնել մինչև 2028 թվականը և տիեզերական նոր մրցավազքում առաջ անցնել Չինաստանից։

NASA-ի ղեկավար Ջարեդ Այզեկմանը հայտարարել է, որ գործակալությունը գործընկերների հետ համատեղ բազմակողմանի քննություն կանցկացնի և կպարզի վթարի պատճառները և առաջիկա տիեզերական առաքելությունների վրա դրա ազդեցությունը գնահատելու համար։

Մինչ այս միջադեպը, Blue Origin-ը նախատեսում էր հենց այս տարի New Glenn հրթիռով իրականացնել լուսնային կարևոր առաքելություն։ Բացի այդ, ընկերությունը NASA-ի հետ պայմանագրեր ունի Blue Moon Mark 1 անօդաչու վայրէջքային մոդուլի և ապագա լուսնային կայանի համար երկու լուսնագնացների տեղափոխման վերաբերյալ։

Փորձագետները նշում են, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակում NASA-ն, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, ստիպված կլինի էլ ավելի մեծ հույսեր կապել Իլոն Մասկի SpaceX ընկերության հետ։ Սակայն վերջինիս Starship գերծանր հրթիռը նույնպես դեռևս փորձարկումների փուլում է և առայժմ չի ապացուցել լուսնային ծրագրի բոլոր խնդիրները կատարելու համար իր պատրաստվածությունը։

NASA-ի նախկին աշխատակիցների գնահատմամբ՝ վթարի հետևանքները կարող են առնվազն մեկ տարով հետաձգել Blue Origin-ի մասնակցությունը լուսնային ծրագիրը։

Ընկերության հիմնադիր Ջեֆ Բեզոսը հայտնել է, որ աշխատակիցներից որևէ մեկը չի տուժել։

«Չափազանց ծանր օր էր, բայց մենք կվերականգնենք անհրաժեշտ ամեն ինչ և կվերադառնանք թռիչքներին», — գրել է նա։
