Sergey Smbatyan’s Music for Future Foundation and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation Invite Young Pianists to Apply for the Prestigious Lang Lang Young Scholars Program
CultureThe Music for Future Foundation, founded by Maestro Sergey Smbatyan, and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation invite young Armenian pianists under the age of 18 to apply for the 2027–2029 academic year of the Lang Lang Young Scholars Program.
For the first time, young musicians from Armenia have the opportunity to join one of the world’s most prestigious programs for young pianists and present their talent at the highest international level.
Established by the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, the Young Scholars Program has supported exceptionally talented young pianists since 2008, providing guidance during a crucial stage of their professional and artistic development. To date, more than 60 young musicians from around the world have had the opportunity to work with internationally renowned musicians and leading professionals from major music institutions through the program.
Selected Young Scholars become members of an exceptional international music community, gaining mentorship from Lang Lang and experts from leading music institutions worldwide, participating in international academies, and receiving performance opportunities on prestigious stages around the world.
Applications for the 2027–2029 academic year are open to pianists under the age of 18 until October 2, 2026. For the first time, young talents from Armenia have the opportunity to take part in this exceptional international platform and share their musical potential with the world.
