"Не так часто происходят события, которые способны сплотить общество, и очень важно сохранить эту консолидацию и дальше, дать простор гражданским инициативам", — отметил российский президент на традиционном новогоднем приеме в Кремле.
Президент России Владимир Путин считает, что следующий год будет непростым, стоит много сложных задач, но все они обязательно будут выполнены, для преодоления трудностей необходима консолидация общества.
"Следующий год будет непростым. Перед нами стоит много сложных задач, и мы их обязательно решим", — сказал президент РФ на традиционном новогоднем приеме в Кремле.
Он подчеркнул, что труд "во имя Родины, служение родной стране, отстаивание ее жизненных интересов всегда было свидетельством чести и долга". "Насколько востребованы эти качества сегодня, свидетельствует в полной мере тот факт, что Крым и Севастополь вернулся в этом году в родную семью", — сказал глава государства.

В Новогоднем приеме в Кремле участвовали некоторые победители зимних Олимпийских игр. Им вручена книга портретов автора Сергея Берменьева, она называется "Страна победа, победа страны". В ней на 128 страницах в черно-белом формате портреты всех олимпийских медалистов зимней Олимпиады в Сочи.
Книга открывается словами президента России Владимира Путина: "В России невозможное всегда становится возможным благодаря ее героям". Эта книга, как сказал журналистам ее автор, была задумана и создана по инициативе президента страны. Она будет вручена всем олимпийским медалистам.
