Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Արամ Սուքիասյանը և քաղաքապետի գլխավոր խորհրդական Վանո Վարդանյանը ներկա են եղել Մարտիրոս Սարյանի անվան պուրակում տեղի ունեցած՝ «Մայրաքաղաք» արվեստի գործիչների միության՝ Վերնիսաժի պաշտոնական հիմնադրման 20-ամյակի հանդիսավոր միջոցառմանը։
«Անշուշտ, Երևանում բազմաթիվ են հանգստի բարեկարգ վայրերը, յուրօրինակ մթնոլորտ ունեցող տեղանքները, սակայն այս պուրակը արդեն երկու տասնամյակ երևանցիների ու մայրաքաղաքի հյուրերի համար մնում է ինքնատիպ՝ զբոսնելու, խորհելու գեղագիտական վայր։ Շնորհավորում եմ և շնորհակալ եմ մեր արվեստագետներին, որ բավականին ներկայանալի կերպով են այստեղ լինում ամեն շաբաթ-կիրակի, կարողանում են ջերմ, երևանյան մթնոլորտ առաջացնել, պուրակը դարձնել մայրաքաղաքային մշակույթին բնորոշ մի վայր։ Քաղաքապետարանն այսուհետ էլ պատրաստակամ է շարունակական հոգածությամբ համագործակցելու «Մայրաքաղաք» արվեստի գործիչների միության հետ, որպեսզի ունենաք առավել մշակութային մայրաքաղաք, մայրաքաղաքային յուրօրինակ մշակույթ»,- նշել է քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Արամ Սուքիասյանը։
«Մայրաքաղաք» արվեստի գործիչների միությունը Երևանի մշակութային կյանքում ունեցած նշանակալի ավանդի, մայրաքաղաքի բարօրությանն ուղղված ամբասիր գործունեության և աշխատանքի հանդեպ ունեցած բարձր պատասխանատվության, անմնացորդ նվիրումի համար Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանին պարգևատրել է Միության ոսկե հուշամեդալով, որը Միության տնօրենը հանձնել է քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Արամ Սուքիասյանին։
Պարգևատրվել են նաև Վերնիսաժի կայացմանը մասնակից արվեստագետները։
Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին Մարտիրոս Սարյանի արձանի հեղինակ, ՀՀ ժողովրդական նկարիչ, քանդակագործ Լևոն Թոքմաջյանը, Մարտիրոս Սարյանի թոռնուհին՝ Ռուզան Սարյանը, բազմաթիվ արվեստագետներ ու արվեստասերներ։
