ԼՂՀ նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի' առողջապահության ոլորտի զարգացման ծրագրին համահունչ, ԼՂՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունը մշակել և արդեն հաստատել է սրտի անհետաձգելի վիրահատությունների նոր ծրագիր' սրտամկանի սուր ինֆարկտ ախտորոշմամբ հիվանդների համար: ԼՂՀ առողջապահության նախարարի'«Բնակչությանը պետության կողմից երաշխավորված անվճար բժշկական օգնության և սպասարկման շրջանակներում սրտի անհետաձգելի վիրահատության (ոչ դեղապատ ստենտի տեղադրում ծառայության) կազմակերպման չափորոշիչը հաստատելու մասին» հրամանի համաձայն, սրտի անհետաձգելի ներանոթային վիրահատության կարիք ունեցողներին ոչ դեղապատ մեկ ստենտը կտեղադրվի անվճար: Այն տարածվելու է սրտամկանի սուր ինֆարկտ ախտորոշված (ST-էլեվացիայով) ԼՂՀ քաղաքացիների վրա' անկախ սոցիալական պատկանելությունից, բացառությամբ այն քաղաքացիների, որոնք օգտվում են պետական այլ ծրագրերից: Ծրագրի իրականացման համար պետական բյուջեից հատկացվել է շուրջ 179 մլն դրամ, ինչի շնորհիվ սուր ինֆարկտի ժամանակ (ST-էլեվացիայով) մոտ 80 հիվանդ կստենտավորվի ամբողջովին անվճար, իսկ պլանային հետազոտությունների' կորոնարոգրաֆիայի և պլանային վիրահատությունների արժեքի 70 տոկոսը ևս կֆինանսավորի պետությունը: Ծրագիրը մեկնարկելու է 2015 թվականի հունվարի 1-ից: Ծրագրի արդյունավետությունն ապահովելու համար իրականացման ընթացքում ի հայտ եկող բոլոր կազմակերպչական խնդիրները կլուծվեն ԼՂՀ առողջապահության նախարարության և Հանրապետական բժշկական կենտրոնի համապատասխան մասնագետների անմիջական աջակցությամբ: ԼՂՀ առողջապահության նախարարության համապատասխան ստորաբաժանումների կողմից մշտապես կկազմակերպվեն բժշկական օգնության և սպասարկման որակի և ծրագրի արդյունավետությունը գնահատելու նպատակով մշտադիտարկումներ: 2014 թվականի նոյեմբերի 15-ին ԼՂՀ առողջապահության նախարարության Հանրապետական բժշկական կենտրոնի բազայի վրա բացվել է Անգիոգրաֆիայի կենտրոն, ինչն Արցախի բնակչությանը հնարավորություն է ընձեռել սրտի կորոնոգրաֆիան և ներանոթային վիրահատությունները կատարել տեղում: Մինչ այդ, սրտի ինվազիվ միջամտությունների կարիք ունեցողները հիմնականում վիրահատվում էին Հայաստանում:
