Նոր տարվա գլխավոր հերոսը, մեր կարծիքով, Ձմեռ պապն է, ով յուրաքանչյուր երկրում ունի իր անունը և ատրիբուտները: Աշխարհի տարբեր ծայրերում ապրող երեխաները նույնպես Ձմեռ պապին հղած իրենց նամակներն ուղարկում են տարբեր հասցեներով: «Газета.Ru»-ն պատմում է, թե որտեղ են ապրում Ձմեռ պապերը: Դեդ Մորոզ - Մեծ Ուստյուգ (Ռուսաստան) Ռուս Դեդ Մորոզի գլխավոր բնակավայը գտնվում է Մեծ Ուստյուգում: Պապիկին նամակ կարելի է գրել հետևյալ հասցեով՝ 162390, Ռուսաստան, Վոլոգդայի մարզ, ք. Մեծ Ուստյուգ, Ձմեռ պապի փոստ: Թեպետ իրականում Մեծ Ուստյուգում միայն Ձմեռ պապի գահասրահն է, բայց նա ապրում է քաղաքից 12 կմ հեռավորության վրա: Սեփականության տարածքում, բացի փորագրված աշտարակներից և հեքիաթների արահետից, կան նաև սրճարան, հյուրանոց՝ 48 տեղանոց, փայտե քոթեջներ, սահադաշտ, մանրածախ խանութներ և նույնիսկ մեղվանոց: Սանտա-Կլաուս - Ալյասկա (ԱՄՆ) Անգլախոս երկրներում Ձմեռ պապը կապված է ոչ թե Նոր տարվա, այլ Սուրբ ծննդի հետ և կոչվում է Սանտա-Կլաուս: Սանտա-Կլաուսն ապրում է Ալյասկայում՝ երկհարկանի համեստ տանը, որը դժվար է ընդունել իբրև «կախարդական» վայր, եթե չլինի համապատասխան գրությունը: Փոքրիկ քաղաքը, որտեղ հիմնվել է Սանտա-Կլաուսը, կոչվում է North Pole, այն «ստեղծվել է» կոմերցիոն նպատակներով, իսկ այնտեղ ապրում է շուրջ 2 000 մարդ: Ասում են՝ Սուրբ ծնունդը Սանտա-Կլաուսի տանը նշում են ամեն օր: Յոուլուպուկի - Ռովանիեմի (Ֆինլանդիա) Ձմեռ պապի ամենահայտնի բնակավայրերից մեկը գտնվում է Ռովանիեմից ոչ հեռու, և այն պատկանում է ոչ թե Սանտա-Կլաուսին, ինչպես շատերն են կարծում, այլ Յոուլուպուկիին՝ ֆինների սուրբծննդյան հրաշագործին: Յոուլուպուկիին գտնվում է Լապլանդիայում՝ բևեռային շրջանում, որի սահմանն անցնում է գլխավոր տնակ-գրասենյակի տակով: Յոուլուպուկի գյուղի բացումը տեղի է ունեցել 1950-ական թվականներին, իսկ առաջին զբոսաշրջիկը համարվում է Ֆրանկլին Ռուզվելտի կինը՝ Էլեոնորան: Զյուզա - «Բելովեժյան թավուտ» (Բելառուս) Մեզ ամենամոտ և ամենահարազատ Ձմեռ պապն ապրում է Բելառուսում, և նրան անվանում են Զյուզա կամ Ձեդ Մորոզ: Զյուզայի բնակավայրը գտնվում է «Բելովեժյան թավուտում»: Այն բացվել է 2003 թվականին և մինչ օրս աշխատում է ամբողջ տարի: Այն գտնվում է հենց պահպանվող անտառում, որտեղ ապրում են բիզոններ, այծյամներ, եղջերուներ և արջեր: Այստեղ կարելի է ծանոթանալ ազգային ավանդույթներին, արվեստին, արհեստներին և խոհանոցին: Պեր Նոել - Լիբուրն կամ Ստրասբուրգ (Ֆրանսիա) Ֆրանսիական Ձմեռ պապը՝ Պեր Նոելը, ապրում է Բորդո քաղաքից ոչ հեռու գտնվող Լիբուրն քաղաքում: Ճիշտ է՝ համարվում է, որ Պեր Նոելը ծնվել է Ստրասբուրգում, որտեղ ամեն տարի բացվում է սուրբծննդյան ամենագեղեցիկ շուկաներից մեկը ոչ միայն Ֆրանսիայում, այլև ամբողջ աշխարհում, այդ պատճառով, շատերը կարծում են, որ Պեր Նոելն ապրում է հենց այնտեղ: Իսկ նամակները նրան ուղարկում են Լիբուրն, որտեղ նոյեմբերի երկրորդ կեսին բացվում է Պեր Նոելի քարտուղարությունը:
