1. 1988 թվականին հայտնի սքայդայվեր Իվան Մակգուայերը իսկապես խելահեղ քայլ արեց: Նա որոշեց նկարել իր թռիչքը 3 կիլոմետր բարձրությունից և գուշակեք, թե ի՞նչ պատահեց. տեսախցիկը նա ամենակրկիտ ձևով ամրացրեց իր սաղավարտին, համոզվեց, որ այն իր տեղում կմնա և կնկարի անդադար, բայց այ պարաշյուտը վերցնել իր հետ Մակգուայերը մոռացավ...
2. Կալիֆորնիայի 59-ամյա մի բնակիչ խիստ անհաջող նստեց լողավազանի հատակի ջրահեռացման խողովակին, որը ջուրը քաշում է 136 կիլոգրամ ուժով: Խողը փրկվելու շանս չուներ. նրա աղիքները պարզապես դուրս քաշվեցին մարմնի միջից:
3. Լեռնագնաց-վետերան Ժերար Օմելը իր կյանքի ընթացքում 6 անգամ բարձրացել է Էվերեստը, բայց մահացել է նա իր բնակարանում, երբ լամպը փոխելիս ընկել և գլուխր հարվածել էր լվացարանի ծայրին:
4. 50 հետաքրքրասեր վիետնամցիներ հավաքվել էին Հոշիմին քաղաքի կամուրջներից մեկի վրա, որպեսզի մոտիկից տեսնեին, թե ինչպես է մի աղջիկ ուզում ինքնասպանություն գործել: Արդյունքում կամուրջը չէր դիմացել ու քանդվել էր, իսկ դրա վրա հավաքված մարդիկ ընկել էին գետի մեջ: Արդյունքում մահացել էր 9 մարդ, իսկ ինքնասպանության պատրաստվող աղջիկը փրկվածների շարքում էր:
5. Եգիպտոսի կառավարության աշխատակից Ադել Նազիմ Ջերգեզը 8 երկար տարի սպասում էր ավելի բարձր պաշտոնի և երբ վերջապես տեսել էր իր անունը՝ համապատասխան հրամանի մեջ, տեղում մահացել էր սրտի կաթվածից:
6. Երիտասարդ մարմնամարզորդուհին ցատկոտում էր իր տան բազմոցի վրա՝ սեփական 17-ամյակը նշելիս: Մի պահ նա այնքան ոգևորվեց, որ պարզապես դուրս թռավ պատուհանից ու 9.8 մ/վ2 արագացմամբ սլացավ դեպի ներքև՝ 6-րդ հարկից:
7. Մի մարդ Նյու Յորքում մեքենայի տակ ընկավ, բայց նրա բախտը բերեց և կենդանի մնաց: Սակայն ականատեսներից մեկը խորհուրդ տվեց նրան ծանր վիրավորված ձևանալ, որպեսզի կարողանա հետո ավելի մեծ փոխհատուցում պահանջել: Խեղճը համաձայնվեց և հենց նա պառկեց նույնբ տեղում, իրեն վրաերթի ենթարկած մեքենան, որի վարորդը տեսել էր, որ մարդը արդեն ոտքի էր ելել, առաջ քշեց իր մեքենան և ճզմեց չհաջողված խաբեբային:
8. Հարավկորեացի մի ձկնորս պատրաստվում էր արդեն մաքրել թարմ-թարմ բռնված ձկանը և արդեն բարձրացրել էր դանակը, որպեսզի կտրի ձկան գլուխը, երբ վերջինս անսպասելիորեն պոչով հարվածեց ձկնորսին: Անսպասելիությունից ձկնորսը բաց թողեց դանակը ձեռքից և ընկնելով այն ուղիղ նր կրծքի մեջ մխրճվեց: Մահն ակնթարթային էր:
9. Ֆերմեր Վինսենտ Կորրաջիոն ճագարների որսի ժամանակ, պառկեց մարգագետնին, որպպեսզի մի քիչ հանգստանա, իսկ զենքը կողքը դրեց: Նրա կողքով վազող ճակգարը պատահաբար ոտքով սեղմեց հրացցանի ձգանը և գնդակը դիպավ ուղիիղ որսորդի գլխին և կարելի է ասել, որ սա առաջին դեպքն է, որ ճագարը վրեժխնդիր եղավ իր ցեղակիցներին սպանած մարդուց:
10. Ծիծաղը միշտ չի, որ երկարացնում է կյանքը: 1950 թվականին Ալեքս Միտչեն այնքան լիաթոք էր ծիծաղում BBC-ի The Goodies շոուի կատակների վրա, որ նրա սիրտը կանգ առավ և նա մահացավ տեղում: Նրա այրին շնորհակալական նամակ գրեց շոուի կազմակերպիչներին և դերասաններին, քանի որ նրանք իր ամուսնու կյանքի վերջին րոպեները երջանիկ էին դարձրել:
