Քրիստոնեությունը հայ ժողովրդի 3000-ամյա պատմության մի բաղկացուցիչ մասնիկն է և վերջին 1700 տարիների անբաժանելի ուղեկիցը:Չնայած հայերը՝ որպես առանձին էթնիկական միավոր, Քրիստոնեությունն ընդունել և ընկալել են յուրովի, բայց պետք է փաստել, որ հայ հասարակական-քաղաքական շրջանակներում երբեք միասնություն չի եղել այդ կոնտեքստում: Կրոնական և, առհասարակ, գաղափարաբանական տարընկալումը բնական ու օրինաչափ երևույթ է և բնորոշ է բոլոր հասարակություններին: Որքան էլ, որ սա բնական օրինաչափություն համարվի, եկեղեցու պատմության ամբողջ ընթացքում դրան ուղեկցել է ոչ այնքան օրինաչափ մի երևույթ նույնպես՝ կրոնական անհանդուրժողականությունը: Այս արատավոր երևույթը, որը խավարի և արյան մեջ է պարփակել համաշխարհային պատմության մի զգալի հատվածը, ներկայումս ոչ պակաս ուժգնությամբ առկա է նաև հայ հասարակության լայն շրջանակներում, և դրա կենտրոնական գաղափարախոսները Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու հոգևոր հայրերն են: Հանդես գալով արմատական քրիստոնեական դիրքերից` նրանք մոռացության են մատնել Պողոս Առաքյալի պատվիրանը` ուղղված ավանդապաշտ հրեաներին, որոնք չէին կարողանում ընդունել «դարձի եկած» հեթանոսներին. «Մարդ չի արդարանայ օրենքի գործերով, այլ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի Հաւատով…»: Եվ այսպես, ինչպես այդ հրեաները, Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին նույնպես ոչ մի կերպ չի կարողանում ընդունել, որ էական չէ, թե որ եկեղեցու հետևորդն ես, այլ կարևոր է ճշմարիտ զղջումը, հավատքն առ Աստված կամ շատ հավանական է, որ տվյալ անհատը աթեիստ է, և դա նրա բնական իրավունքն է: Նրանք ոչ միայն շրջանցում են առաքյալի պատվիրանները, այլ նաև առանց այն էլ բզկտված հայ հասարակության մեջ կրոնական հողի վրա ատելություն սերմանելու գործունեություն են ծավալում, որը հայտնի է որպես «աղանդների դեմ պայքար» պիտակումով՝ խախտելով ՀՀ սահմանդրության խղճի և դավանանքի մասին համապատասխան օրենքը: Իսկ որպես այդ պայքարի հիմնավորում բերում են, իբրև թե կրոնական կազմակերպությունների օտարերկրյա, իսկ ավելի կոնկրետ «այլասերված» արևմուտքից ֆինանսավորում ստանալը և քայքայիչ գործունեություն ծավալելը: Թերևս, չփորձելով ժխտել կամ հաստատել վերոհիշյալ պնդումը, այնուամենայնիվ, դրա վերաբերյալ առաջ է գալիս հետևյալ հարցադրումը.
Արդյո՞ք եկեղեցուն է վերապահված մի ամբողջ պետության մեջ արդարադատություն իրականացնելու բավականին խրթին գործը, քանի որ տվյալ մեղադրանքներն ըստ էության քրեական են, իսկ այդ դեպքում, որտե՞ղ է սևեռված հատուկ ծառայությունների ուշադրությունը, եթե իրոք այդպես է:Կարող ենք փաստել, որ պետության հետ սերտաճած եկեղեցին ջանք չի խնայում օգտագործելու պետական ռեսուրսներն այլադավաններին հասարակությունից օտարելու, մեկուսացնելու նպատակով՝ ստեղծելով արհեստական անջրպետ մոնոլիտ հասարակության մեջ (դպրոց, բանակ, ԲՈՒՀ և այլն):Կարծում եմ՝ զավեշտական է, երբ 21-րդ դարում կրոնը փորձում են դարձնել ինքնության կարևորագույն բաղադրիչ: Այն պետք է լինի անհատի անձնական սեփականությունը և չկաղապարի մեկ այլ անհատի ազատ ընկալման հնարավորությունը:Կարպիս ՓաշոյանOrer.am, վերլուծաբան
