Ինչպես գիտենք, այս տավա սկզբից Հայաստանը թևակոխեց Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության ժամանակաշրջան:
Այս թեմայով եղան բազմաթիվ քաղաքական վերլուծություններ, հիմնավորումներ ու քննադատություններ և, իհարկե, հուզական մոտեցումներ: Սակայն, պետք է նշենք, որ վերլուծության ենթակա առանցքային ոլորտը պետք է լիներ տնտեսականը, քանզի ԵՏՄ անդամակցությունը, ինչպես նոր հորիզոններ ու հնարավորություններ է ստեղծում երկրի տնտեսության զարգացման համար, այնպես էլ, անկասկած, պարունակում է նաև բազմաթիվ ռիսկեր: Դրանցից առաջնահերթ վտանգ է ներկայացնում մրցակցությունը: Բանն այն է, որ ԵՏՄ անդամ երկրներում տնտեսվարող բոլոր սուբյեկտների համար կստեղծվի հավասար մրցակցային պայմաններ: Սա առաջին հայացքից շատ դրական երևույթ է, քանզի այդպիսով կբացառվեն մենաշնորհային դիրքերի չարաշահումն ու այլ խտրականությունները, սակայն մյուս կողմից սա առաջ կբերի մի խնդիր, որը կապված է էներգետիկ ռեսուրսների գների տարբերության հետ:
Գաղտնիք չէ, որ էներգետիկ ռեսուրսներով Հայաստանը ԵՏՄ-ում ամենաանբարենպաստներից մեկն է և գազի, բենզինի, էլեկտրաէներգիայի, վառելիքների և մյուս էներգետիկ ռեսուրսների գները մեր երկրում անհամեմատ ավելի բարձր են, քան ԵՏՄ անդամ մյուս երկրներում: Այսինքն, սա նշանակում է, որ որևէ ապրանքի արտադրությունը մեր երկրում ավելի թանկ կլինի, քան ԵՏՄ այլ երկրներում:Եթե ասվածին հավելենք, որ ԵՏՄ տարածքում գործելու է միասնական տնտեսական տարածքի գաղափարը, այսինքն ապրանքները ԵՏՄ տարածքում տեղաշարժվելու են առանց մաքսատուրքերի, ապա արտասահմանյան մի շարք էներգատարապրանքներ տեղականի համեմատ կհայտնվեն ավելի շահեկան դիրքում՝ շնորհիվ ցածր ինքնարժեքի, որը գալիս է էներգետիկ ռեսուրսների էժանությունից: Այս պարագայում գործող ազատ մրցակցությունը կգործի ի վնաս մեր երկրի տնտեսվարող սուբյեկտների, որոնք ուղակի չդիմանալով ստեղծված մրցակցությանը՝ ստիպված կլինեն դադարեցնել գործունեությունը:
Սա, անկասկած, լուրջ սպառնալիք է ինչպես երկրի տնտեսության, այնպես էլ՝ սոցիալ-տնտեսական իրավիճակի առումով, քանի որ, ձեռնարկատիրական գործունեության կրճատմանը զուգահեռ կավելանա նաև գործազրկուոթյունը, որը աղքատության ավելացման առանցքային դերակատարներից է:
Այս պարագայում խստիվ անհրաժեշտություն է համապատասխան օրենսդրաիրավական ակտերի ստեղծումը, որոնք կպաշտպանեն տեղական ձեռնարկատերերին և կստեղծեն տնտեսության զարգացումը խթանելու համապատասխան նախադրյալներ:
