Այսօր ՀՀ առաջին նախագահ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի ծննդյան օրն է:Առաջին նախագահի անցած քաղաքական ուղու, բացթողումների եւ ձեռքբերումների մասին, Orer.am-ը զրուցեց քաղաքական տարբեր բեւեռների ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Այս մասին իր կարծիքը հայտնեց նաև Երեւանի ավագանու «Բարեւ Երեւան» խմբակցության անդամ Ստյոպա Սաֆարյանը.
«Անկախ նրանից, թե կիսում եմ ՀՀ առաջին նախագահի քաղաքական հայացքները, թե՝ ոչ, եւ ինչ վերաբերմունք ունեմ նրա նկատմամբ, ես շնորհավորում եմ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի տարեդարձը: Ինչ վերաբերում է նրա կառավարման տարիներին, ապա թերեւս պետք է առանձնացնեմ, որ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի կողմից շատ կոպիտ բացթողումներ են եղել, որոնք ճակատագրական են եղել մեր պետության համար․ դա եւ՛ ընտրական ինստիտուտի, եւ՛ բազմակարծության ինստիտուտի ջախջախումն էր, եւ՛ ռեպրեսիոն քաղաքական մշակույթի ներդրումն էր ընդդիմախոսի հետ հարաբերություններում, որը, ցավոք սրտի, խորացավ նաեւ հաջորդ նախագահությունների շրջանում: Պետք է անդրադառնամ նաեւ նրա կողմից երկրի տնտեսական քաղաքականության կատարյալ ձախողմանը:
Կարծում եմ, որ Հայաստանը, սկսած Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի պաշտոնավարման ժամանակներից, լավ նախագահներ չի ունեցել, ես համարձակվում եմ դա ասել` ուղղակի ուսումնասիրելով Հայաստանի պատմությունը: Կարող եմ ասել, որ այդ տարիները բաց թողնված հնարավորությունների տարիներ են ու մի ամբողջ պատմություն: Այս կտրվածքով ասեմ, որ ավելի շատ կենտրոնանում ենք Տեր-Պետրոսյանի բացթողումների վրա, որովհետեւ նրանից սպասումներն ավելի մեծ են եղել՝ որպես Ղարաբաղյան շարժումով իշխանության եկած եւ անկախ պետության առաջին հիմքերը գցած նախագահ:
Նրա պատասխանատվությունը հենց այս հանգամանքով ավելի է ընդգծվում: Պետք է նկատենք, որ, եթե հիմքը սխալ է դրվում, ապա արդեն ակնհայտ է, որ շարունակությունը հենց այդ հիմքերի վրա է կառուցվում, դրա համար Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի պատասխանատվությունը մեծանում է: Ցավով պետք է նշեմ, որ հենց այդ պատճառով էլ Հայաստանը 24 տարի դեգերում է անցման փուլում, անցում չկատարելով լիակատար ժողովրդավարության, ինչը հաջողվել է բազում երկրների: Փաստացի Հայաստանն ավելի շատ մսխել է իր ռեսուրսները, քան դրանք բազմապատկել»:
Դե, իսկ ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Սամվել Նիկոյանն էլ պարզապես զերծ մնաց որեէ մեկնաբանություն անել ՀՀ առաջին նախագահի անցած քաղաքական ուղու վերաբերյալ՝ առաջ քաշելով քաղաքական կաթսայում երկար տարիներ եփված գործչի համար հետաքրքիր պատճառաբանություններ. «Ես ձեռնպահ կմնամ հեռախոսով եւ համպատրաստից Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանին բնութագրելուց, ուղղակի ես ցանկանում եմ շնորհավորել առաջին նախագահին` ցանականալով նրան առողջություն եւ հաջողություն: Ավել բան չեմ ցանկանում ասել»։
