В совместной статье лидеры Великобритании и США сообщили, что планируют дальше оказывать помощь Киеву "в укреплении экономики и демократии".
Великобритания и США "продолжат оказывать давление на Россию с целью урегулирования дипломатическим путем кризиса на Украине". Об этом говорится в совместной статье британского премьер-министра Дэвида Кэмерона и американского президента Барака Обамы, опубликованной в четверг в газете The Times.
По словам авторов, они "продолжат противостоять действиям России на Украине", которые, по мнению политиков, являются агрессивными. "Если мы позволим таким фундаментальным нарушениям международного права оставаться безнаказанными, то пострадаем от нестабильности, которая последует за этим, - утверждают Кэмерон и Обама. - Мы направили недвусмысленный сигнал: международное сообщество не поддержит попытки России дестабилизировать ситуацию на Украине".
Лидеры Великобритании и США выразили намерение и дальше оказывать помощь Киеву в укреплении экономики и демократии. Кроме того, они отметили, что "безопасность и процветание идут рука об руку", обозначив в качестве одной из первоочередных задач борьбу с терроризмом.
