«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Օրերս համցանցում հայտարարություն տարածվեց, որի համաձայն՝ Ռուսաստանի հայերը պահանջում են Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Աբրահամյանի եւ նրա տեղակալ Լեւոն Մուկանյանի հրաժարականը:
Նշենք, որ նախքան նախաձեռնողների հայտարարությունը Արա Աբրահամյանը ոչ մի հայտարարություն եւ ցավակցական խոսք չէր ասել Գյումրիում հունվարի 12-ին տեղի ունեցած ոճրագործության, դրան հաջորդող բողոքի ակցիաների վերաբերյալ:
Նախաձեռնողների հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է, որ Արա Աբրահամյանն ընդհանարպես անտեսել է այդ ոճրագործությունը, փոքր անդրադարձ կատարել է միայն նրա տեղակալ Լեւոն Մուկանյանը՝ ցավակցելու հետ մեկտեղ կոչ անելով զերծ մնալ այնպիսի քայլերից, որոնք կարող են սեպ խրել հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություններում:
Ընդգծենք, որ Արա Աբրահամյանի դեմ ստորագրահավաքին 3 օրվա ընթացքում միացել է մոտ 1000 մարդ:
«Ժամանակի» Մոսկվայի աղբյուրները փոխանցում են, թե սա միակ պատճառը չէ, որ Արա Աբրահամյանի դեմ բողոք է հասունացել, սակայն հիմա իրավիճակը լուրջ է այնքանով, որ Արա Աբրահամյանի հրաժարականի վերաբերյալ տեղեկություններ են շրջանառվում նաեւ ռուսական ԶԼՄ-ներում՝ թերթերում եւ էլեկտրոնային լրատվամիջոցներում:
Մեր զրուցակիցը, որը եւս քննադատում է ՌՀՄ գործունեությունը, չբացառեց, որ առաջիկայում ստորագրահավաքի հետ մեկտեղ կարող են լինել նաեւ բողոքի ակցիաներ: Նրա խոսքերով՝ Աբրահամյանի ղեկավարած Ռուսաստանի հայերի միությունը վաղուց չի սպասարկում հայերի շահերը. չկա մի հայ, որն իսկապես օգնության կարիք ունենա եւ դիմի միությանն ու օգնություն ստանա, եթե, իհարկե, Աբրահամյանը մտադիր չէ գովազդել ինքն իրեն ու իր կառույցը:
Աբրահամյանի հրաժարականի հարցը հասունացել է նաեւ հայազգի վարորդ Հրաչյա Հարությունյանի հետ տեղի ունեցածի պատճառով:
Ընդհանրապես Ռուսաստանում բնակվող հայերից երեւի թե քչերը կնշեն, թե այս տարիների ընթացքում, բացի ռուսահպատակ քաղաքականությունից, Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարությանն ամեն կերպ հաճոյանալուց, ուրիշ ի՞նչ է արել Արա Աբրահամյանը: Ռուսաստանում միգրացիոն օրեսդրության վերջին փոփոխություններից հետո շատ հայեր են հայտնվել փակուղային վիճակում, ստիպված են եղել վերադառնալ Հայաստան, հայտնվել են «սեւ ցուցակում», կանգնել բազմաթիվ խնդիրների առջեւ, սակայն Ռուսաստանի հայերի միությունը նրանցից ոչ ոքի որեւէ աջակցություն չի ցուցաբերել:
Մեկ այլ աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ՝ միայն այն փաստը, որ հրաժարականի մասին լուրերը տարածվում են նաեւ ռուսական լրատվամիջոցներով, չի կարող պատահական լինել․ «Հնարավոր է անգամ՝ Արա Աբրահամյանն ինքը հրաժարական տա, որպեսզի մեղմվի մարդկանց զայրույթն ու դժգոհությունը այնպիսի կառույցի նկատմամբ, որը վաղուց արդեն «Карточный домик»-ի է վերածվել»։
