ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցով զբաղվող Ֆրանսիան ցանկանում է վերականգնել կողմերի միջև բանակցային գործընթացը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ադրբեջանական ԱՊԱ գործակալության հետ զրույցում հայտնել է Ադրբեջանում Ֆրանսիայի դեսպան Պասկալ Մոնյեն:
Նա նշել է, որ իրենք կփորձեն ամրապնդել վստահությունը հակամարտող կողմերի միջև: «Հաշտությունը հնարավոր է միայն այն դեպքում, երբ կողմերը ցանկանում են դա: Հայաստանին և Ադրբեջանին հետաքրքրող այլ հարցեր ներառելու դեպքում, նրանց կարելի է երկխոսության բերել: Մենք փորձում ենք ամրապնդել երկխոսությունն ու փոխըմբռնումը, որպեսզի Հարավային Կովկասում հաստատվի խաղաղություն»,- ասել է Մոնյեն: Նա տեղեկացրել է, որ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներն այժմ ցանկանում են հանդիպել նախ Ադրբեջանի, ապա Հայաստանի արտգործնախարարների հետ: «Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները շարունակում են ակտիվություն ցուցաբերել բանակցային գործընթացում: Կարծում եմ, որ անհրաժեշտ է բոլոր ոլորտներում երկխոսություն սկսել, որպեսզի հնարավոր լինի Խաղաղության մեծ համաձայնագրի կնքումը»,- ասել է Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանը: Նա նշել է, որ ներկայիս փուլում ակնկալվում է Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի միջոցով տեղեկություններ փոխանակել անհայտ կորած անձանց վերաբերյալ:
Պասկալ Մոնյեն հակասական է համարել այն, որ նախորդ տարի Սոչիում, Ուլեսում և Փարիզում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների միջև կայացած երեք հանդիպումներից հետո հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտումներն այս տարի ինտենսիվացել են:
