Թուրքական թերթը պատմել է Սասունում հայկական գյուղի իսլամացման մասին. «Հուրիեթ»

Թուրքական «Հուրիեթ» թերթը 1964 թվականի ապրիլի 7-ի իր համարում պատմել է Սասունի հայերով բնակեցված Աջար գյուղի բոլոր բնակիչների իսլամ ընդունելու մասին:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը' վկայակոչելով թուրքական sasun.org լրատվական կայքը, «Հուրիեթ»-ը գրել էր, որ իսլամ ընդունելուց հետո հայկական գյուղի եկեղեցին վերածվել է մզկիթի, բոլոր տղամարդիկ թլփատվել են, գյուղացիները փոխել են իրենց անունները' ընդունելով մահմեդական հնչեղությամբ անուններ:

Աջար գյուղն այն ժամանակ ունեցել է 30 ծխից բաղկացած 88 բնակիչ, որոնցից 48-ը' երեխաներ: Հայերի իսլամ ընդունելու արարողակարգը ղեկավարել է Բաթմանի (Սասունի) մուֆթի Ալաեդդին Յավուզը: Նշվում է, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից մազապուրծ այդ գյուղի հայերը ասորական եկեղեցու հետևորդներ են եղել:

Գյուղի նախկին հոգևոր հովիվ Իսա Դեմիրչին պատմել է, որ հայ գյուղացիների առաջ իսլամ ընդունելու պահանջ է դրել շեյխ Քասըմ Բեդոն:

«Հուրիեթ»-ի հրապարակումը վկայում է 1923-ին հիմնադրված Թուրքիայի Հանրապետությունում 1915 թվականի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն անգամ 1960-ականներին շարունակվելու մասին:
