Փետրվարի 10–ին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանում տեղի ունեցավ Երևան քաղաքի ավագանու 5-րդ նստաշրջանի 1-ին նիստը, որի ընթացքում ավագանին հաստատեց պետական գործիչ, վաստակավոր ինժեներ Արտյոմ Գևորգյանի հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշատախտակի տեղադրման մասին որոշման նախագիծը։ Հուշատախտակը նախատեսվում է տեղադրել Սարմենի փողոց հ. 62 հասցեում։ Ականավոր պետական գործիչ, վաստակավոր ինժեներ Արտյոմ Գևորգյանը ծնվել է 1923թ.։ 1952-1961թթ. եղել է ՀԽՍՀ Կոմկուսի Կենտկոմի արդյունաբերության և տրանսպորտի բաժնի վարիչ, 1961-1970 թթ.՝ ՀԽՍՀ Պետպլանի նախագահի առաջին տեղակալ, 1963թ.՝ ՀԽՍՀ մինիստր։ 1970-1987 թթ. զբաղեցրել է ՀԽՍՀ թեթև արդյունաբերության մինիստրի պաշտոնը։ 1987թ. միութենական նշանակության թոշակառու էր։ 27 տարի անընդմեջ Արտյոմ Գևորգյանը եղել է ՀԽՍՀ Գերագույն Սովետի 6-11 գումարումների դեպուտատ, գիտատեխնիկական ընկերությունների Համամիութենական խորհրդի անդամ, ԽՍՀՄ թեթև արդյունաբերության գիտատեխնիկական ընկերության պատվավոր անդամ, ԽՍՀՄ ժուռնալիստների միության անդամ։ Բազմաթիվ աշխատությունների և հոդվածների հեղինակ է։ Արտյոմ Գևորգյանը Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի վետերան է։ Պարգևատրվել է պետական մի շարք շքանշաններով և մեդալներով՝ Հայրենական պատերազմի 1-ին աստիճանի, Աշխատանքային կարմիր դրոշի երեք և «Պատվո նշան» երկու շքանշաններով, ինչպես նաև բազմաթիվ պատվոգրերով։ Արտյոմ Գևորգյանը մեծ վաստակ ունի Հայաստանի արդյունաբերության բազմաթիվ տնտեսական լայնածավալ խնդիրների լուծման և, հատկապես, թեթև արդյունաբերության զարգացման գործում։ Արտյոմ Գևորգյանը մահացել է 2013թ.։
