Совет старейшин Еревана в ходе первого заседания пятой сессии после утверждения повестки и формирования счетной комиссии, единогласно одобрил проекты решений об установлении мемориальных досок, увековечивающих память профессора, доктора исторических наук, члена - корреспондента Национальной Академии Наук РА Бабкена Арутюняна, выдающегося государственного деятеля, заслуженного инженера Артема Геворкяна, а также писателя, публициста, переводчика Самвела Мкртчяна.
Совет старейшин Еревана одобрил также проекты решений о предоставлении права на льготное налогообложение на имущество нескольким творческим союзам и общественным организациям.
По решению Совета старейшин Еревана были внесены изменения в бюджете города Еревана, согласно которым финансирование программы «Обеспечение пандусов в автобусах» увеличилось на 30 млн драмов и составило 60 млн драмов.
200 млн драмов в виде целевой дотации для погашения долгов, было предоставлено здравоохранительным организациям, подведомственных мэрии Еревана, 50 млн драмов было предоставлено для программы капитального ремонта Зоопарка. 20 млн драмов будет предоставлено для приобретения необходимого инвентаря для новых шахматных школ Еревана и около 7 млн драмов - для организации работ музея Ф. Нансена.
Остальные вопросы, включённые в повестку дня, также удостоились одобрения Совета старейшин.
К концу заседания по предложению мэра Тарона Маргаряна, Член фракции РПА Совета старейшин Еревана, директор музея-института Геноцида армян Айк Демоян представил членам Совета старейшин те мероприятия, которые предусмотрены в рамках программы мероприятий, посвящённых 100-летней годовщине Геноцида армян.
Следующее заседание Совета старейшин Еревана состоится 18-го марта.
