Նոր տենդենց է նկատվում հարևան երկրների բռնապետերի մոտ. Թուրքիայի նախագահ Էրդողանը հետևելով իր ընկեր, բարեկամ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Ալիևի օրինակին, առաջին հաղորդագրություն է տարածել Twitter-ում:
Էրդողանի առաջին հաղորդագրությունը հետևյալն է. «Հեռացնենք մեր կյանքից վատ սովորույթները, հատկապես՝ ծխելը, հանուն առողջ սերնդի և մեր երկրի ապագայի»:
Հետաքրքրական է այն հանգամանքը, որ ոչ վաղ անցյալում, Էրդողանը դեմ էր արտահայտվել Twitter-ում որևէ հաղորդագրություն տարածելուն:
2014թ մարտի 20-ին Բոդրումում կայացած նախընտրական հանրահավաքի ժամանակ Էրդողանը հայտարարել էր. «Twitter-ն արմատախիլ ենք անելու: Դա ազատության հետ որևէ կապ չունի: Ինձ բացարձակապես չի հետաքրքրում, թե ինչ կասի միջազգային հանրությունը»:
Էրդողանի հրամանով արգելափակվեցին Twitter-ն ու Facebook-ը: Սակայն, Թուրքիայի սահմանադրական դատարանը որոշում կայացրեց հանել հասանելիության արգելքը:
Twitter ընկերությունն տարվա սկզբին հրապարակել էր իր երկամյա թափանցիկության մասին զեկույցը՝ բացահայտելով, թե ինչ հաճախականությամբ են տարբեր երկրների կառավարություններ խնդրում իրենց օգտատերերի մասին տեղեկություններ տրամադրել կամ հեռացնել որոշակի բովանդակություն: Ամենաշատը բովանդակություն հեռացնելու դիմումներ է ներկայացրել Թուրքիան՝ 477 անգամ, որոնցից Twitter-ը բավարարել է 50 տոկոսը:
Իսկ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Ալիևն իր ցասումը Twitter-ի միջոցով է արտահայտում և կարող է օրեկան տասնյակից ավելի հակահայկական գրառումներ կատարել` սեփական երկիրն էլ ներկայացնել որպես ժողովրդավար, զարգացում ապրող երկիր:
Ալիևի թվիթերի միջոցով տարածվող իրականությունը չի համապատասխանում կեղծված ընտրությունների մասին տեղեկություններին, լրագրողների, քաղաքացիական հասարակության և ակտիվիստների նկատմամբ մարդու իրավունքների խախտումներին:
Scope բարեգործական կազմակերպության կողմից անցկացված սոցհարցման արդյունքներում պարզ է դարձել, որ սոցցանցերը մարդկանց չար, նախանձ ու ոչ ադեկվատ են դարձնում:
Մնում է միայն հուսալ, որ կազմակերպության արդյունքները չեն տարածվի Ալիևի և Էրդողանի վարքագծի վրա:
