Դինքի ընտանիքի փաստաբան Հաքան Բաքըրջըօղլուն դիմել է Ստամբուլի հանրապետական դատախազություն' պահանջելով Հրանտի սպանության գործով հարցաքննել ևս մեկ պաշտոնյայի: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը' վկայակոչելով Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ակոս» պարբերականը, փաստաբանը պահանջել է հարցաքնել սպանության կատարման ժամանակ Տրապիզոնի հետախուզական բաժանմունքի պետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցրած Էնգին Դինչին:
Բաքըրջըօղլուի համոզմամբ' Դինչը համապատասխան քայլեր չի ձեռնարկել հանցագործությունը կանխելու նպատակով:
Ստամբուլի «Ակոս» թերթի հայազգի խմբագրապետ Հրանտ Դինքը սպանվել է 2007 թվականի հունվարի 19-ին' խմբագրության առջեւ զինված հարձակման արդյունքում:
2012 թվականի հունվարի 17-ին դատարանի որոշմամբ Դինքի սպանության կազմակերպիչ Յասին Հայալը ցմահ բանտարկության դատապարտվեց, հանցագործությունն իրականացրած Օգյուն Սամասթը' 22 տարվա ազատազրկման:
2014 թվականի հոկտեմբերին Ստամբուլի ծանր հանցագործությունների գործերով 5-րդ դատարանը որոշում է կայացրել Հրանտ Դինքի սպանության գործով դատավարությունը սկսել զրոյից:
Այս անգամ բոլոր ամբաստանյալներին կառաջադրվի «հանցավոր խմբավորման ստեղծման եւ կառավարման կամ դրանում մասնակցություն ունենալու» մեղադրանք: Բացի այդ, Դինքի սպանության ժամանակ բարձր պաշտոններ զբաղեցրած 9 անձանց, այդ թվում' Ստամբուլի նախկին ոստիկանապետ Ջալալեդդին Ջերրահի նկատմամբ դատական գործեր հարուցելու կապակցությամբ որոշումներ են ընդունվել:
