Իրաքյան Քրդստանի նախագահական խորհրդի ղեկավար Ֆուադ Հուսեինը հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիան հրաժարվել է զենք տալ իրաքցի քրդերին՝ «Իրաքի և Լևանտի իսլամական պետություն» (ԻԼԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ կռվելու համար:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին իրաքցի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյան հայտնել է քրդական Rudaw հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում:
Նա ասել է, որ օրերս ինքը գաղտնի այցելել է Անկարա և Թուրքիայից զենք խնդրել ԻԼԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարելու համար, և բացասական պատասխան է ստացել: Նրա խոսքով՝ թուրքական կողմը մերժումը հիմնավորել է Մոսուլում թուրքական հյուապոսության 49 աշխատակիցների դեռևս ԻԼԻՊ-ի ձեռքում պատանդ պահվելով ու Թուրքիայում անցկացված նախագահական ընտրություններով:
Քուրդ առաջնորդը չի նշել, թե Թուրքիայում հատկապես ում է հանդիպել և ովքեր են մերժել պաշտոնական Էրբիլի խնդրանքը: Ֆուադ Հուսեինն ասել է, որ Անկարան համաձայնվել է միայն հումանիտար օգնություն ցուցաբերել ԻԼԻՊ-ի հետ բախումների շրջաններից գաղթած բնակչությանը:
Թուրքական DemokratHaber լրատվական կայքը հայտնում է, որ Թուրքիայի նորընտիր նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի երդմնակալության արարողությանը մասնակցել է նաև իրաքյան Քրդստանի առաջնորդ Մասուդ Բարզանին: Նշվում է, որ Թուրքիայի իշխող «Արդարություն և զարգացում» կուսակցության արտահերթ համագումարից հետո Բարզանին առանձին հանդիպում է ունեցել Էրդողանի և վարչապետ Ահմեթ Դավութօղլուի հետ:
ԻԼԻՊ-ի դեմ կռվելու համար իրաքցի քրդերին արդեն սկսել են զենք և սպառազինություն մատակարարել ԱՄՆ-ն և եվրոպական որոշ երկրներ:
Միջազգային ԶԼՄ-ներն ավելի վաղ հայտնել են այն մասին, որ Թուրքիան գաղտնի կերպով զենք, զինամթերք և սնունդ է ապահովում ԻԼԻՊ-ի զինյալների համար:
