Около 35 тысяч человек принимают участие в демонстрации, организованной движением "Антимайдан" в центре Москвы, сообщает ГУМВД по столице в субботу.
"В шествии от улицы Петровка до площади Революции, которое проходит в рамках акции "Антимайдан", принимают участие порядка 35 тысяч человек", — говорится в сообщении.
В то же время глава столичного департамента региональной безопасности и противодействия коррупции Алексей Майоров отметил, что численность собравшихся превысила заявленные 10 тысяч человек.
"Численность акции была заявлена не более десяти тысяч человек, но в настоящее время она уже гораздо выше заявленной", — сказал Майоров.
Он подчеркнул, что правоохранительные органы внимательно следят за числом участников мероприятия, чтобы это не привело к инцидентам и не помешало деятельности городских структур.
Митинги движения "Антимайдан" проходят сегодня не только в Москве. Одна из таких акций пройдет в Севастополе, митинг здесь станет конечной точкой байкерского автопробега, организованного местным отделением мотоклуба "Ночные волки" в память о погибших в прошлом году на киевском Майдане бойцах крымского спецподразделения "Беркут".
В январе группа российских общественников объявила в Москве о создании движения "Антимайдан", чтобы противостоять тем, кто — по их мнению — угрожает России. Глава столичного департамента региональной безопасности Алексей Майоров сообщил РИА Новости, что организаторы согласовали демонстрацию и митинг с участием до 10 тысяч человек.
