Երևանի ժամանակով ժ. 11.25-ին Մոսկվայի պարեկային ծառայության ոստիկանները նկատել են, որ ճանապարհով ընթացող Hyundai Sonata մեքենայի սրահում ուղևորի ու վարորդի միջև կռիվ է ընթանում:
Մեքենան չի ենթարկվել ոստիկանների՝ կանգ առնելու հրամանին ու փորձել է թաքնվել իրավապահների աչքից:
Մի քանի րոպե անց ոստիկաններին հաջողվել է Նովոչերեմուշկինսկի փողոցում կանգնեցնել մեքենան, որում հայտնաբերվել է ուղևորը՝ 32-ամյա ավստրալացին, որին վարորդը դանակով հարվածներ էր հասցրել կրծքավանդակի ու ազդրի շրջանում:
Վիրավորը ստացած վնասվածքներից հիվանդանոց տեղափոխվելու ճանապարհին մահացել է:
Ձերբակալվել է տաքսիստը, որի մոտ եղել են զոհի դրամապանակը, անձնագիրն ու արյունոտ դանակը: Մահացածը համատեղ ռուս-ավստրալական խոշոր ընկերություններից մեկի մենեջերն էր:
