На прошлой неделе в рамках MWC-2015 компания Samsung представила сразу два новых аппарата – Galaxy S6 и Galaxy S6 Edge. По данным издания The Korea Times, южнокорейцы получили рекордное количество предзаказов на новые флагманские смартфоны.
Несмотря на то, что некоторые критики прозвали новые аппараты из линейки Galaxy помесью четвертого и шестого поколений iPhone, заказы на S6 и S6 Edge бьют все рекорды. The Korea Times отмечает, что Samsung Electronics получила около 20 млн предзаказов на свои последние девайсы (15 млн на S6 и 5 млн на S6 Edge) от мобильных операторов по всему миру.
«Это, несомненно, рекорд, – отмечает руководитель одной из ведущих сотовых компаний в Европе. – Наша компания осталась довольна всеми аспектами Galaxy S6 и Galaxy S6 Edge».
На прошлой неделе глава мобильного подразделения Samsung Electronics Шин Йонг-Кюн сообщил, что реакция участников рынка на новые смартфоны оказалась намного лучше по сравнению с предыдущими моделями. «Если быть честным, предзаказы на обе модели Galaxy от наших ключевых клиентов действительно огромны», – добавил глава подразделения ИТ и мобильных устройств южнокорейского гиганта потребительской электроники.
Теперь в планах у производителя организовать масштабную маркетинговую кампанию с целью продвижения новых смартфонов. Samsung намеревается вернуть себе былые позиции, которые пошатнулись с появлением более бюджетных смартфонов на базе Android от китайского вендора Xiaomi.
