ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ՀՀ գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայում հանդիպում է ունեցել երիտասարդ գիտնականների հետ: Երիտասարդ գիտնականների աջակցության ծրագրի (ԵԳԱԾ) պատասխանատուները Հանրապետության Նախագահին ներկայացրել են ծրագրի երկրորդ փուլի՝ 2013թ. հուլիսից 2015թ. փետրվարն ընկած ժամանակահատվածի արդյունքները, ընթացիկ աշխատանքներն ու առաջիկա ծրագրերը:
Հաշվետվությունը ներառել է Երիտասարդ գիտնականների աջակցության ծրագրի յոթ հիմնական ուղղությունները՝ երիտասարդ գիտնականներին միջազգային գիտական գործուղումների ֆինանսական աջակցության տրամադրում, երիտասարդ գիտնականների գիտաժողովների, սիմպոզիումների, դպրոցների, սեմինարների կազմակերպման ֆինանսական աջակցության տրամադրում, գիտական դրամաշնորհների տրամադրում, երիտասարդ գիտնականների հեղինակած գրքերի տպագրության համար ֆինանսական աջակցության տրամադրում, երիտասարդ գիտնականներին գիտական սարքերի և/կամ նյութերի ձեռքբերման համար ֆինանսական աջակցության տրամադրում, ազդեցության գործակից ունեցող պարբերականներում երիտասարդ գիտնականների գիտական հոդվածների տպագրության համար ֆինանսական աջակցության տրամադրում և մրցանակաբաշխության կազմակերպում:
Սերժ Սարգսյանը երիտասարդ գիտնականներին ուղղված իր խոսքում կարևորել է իրականացված աշխատանքը, ընդգծել, որ պետությունը շարունակելու է աջակցել գիտությանը, այդ թվում՝ երիտասարդ գիտնականներին և հնարավորության սահմաններում խրախուսել զբաղվելու գիտությամբ, զարգացնելու մեր երկրում գիտությունը, առանց որի, Նախագահի համոզմամբ, անհնար է պատկերացնել Հայաստանի զարգացումը: Սերժ Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ կարևոր է, որպեսզի երիտասարդ գիտնականները մշտապես զգան պետական ուշադրությունն ու հոգածությունն իրենց նկատմամբ, որը երկրի հնարավորությունների մեծացմանը զուգահեռ տարեցտարի կավելանա:
Նախագահը կարևորել է երիտասարդների հետ իր պարբերական հանդիպումները և գիտության ոլորտի խնդիրների, զարգացման հեռանկարների շուրջ քննարկումները, որոնք միտված են առավել արդյունավետ դարձնելու իրականացվող ծրագրերն ու այս ոլորտում պետական քաղաքականությունը:
