«Ե´ս եմ, ե´ս եմ այն նույնը, որ ջնջում եմ իմ հանդեպ կատարած քո անօրենությունները և քո մեղքերն այլևս չեմ հիշելու: Բայց դու հիշի´ր, որ իրար հետ դատ ենք ունենալու. նախ դու խոստովանի´ր քո անօրենությունները, որ արդարացվես» (43.25-26):
Եսայու մարգարեությունից վերցված այս տողերն առիթ են ընծայում մեզ խորհրդածելու մեր կատարած գործերի և դրանց դիմաց հատուցման ու Վերջին դատաստանի մասին: Մեր գործած անօրենությունները Տերն է, որ ներում է, եթե մենք անկեղծ սրտով զղջում ենք և դրանք խոստովանում: Այս ամենի մեջ գործում են նախևառաջ մարդ-Աստված հարաբերությունները: Ամենքս Աստծու հայացքի ներքո ենք քայլում և ապրում` անկախ նրանից գիտակցում ենք դա, թե` ոչ: Չպետք է զարմանալ նաև, երբ մարդիկ չեն ընդունում, որովհետև այն ենթադրում է պատասխանատվություն, ընտրություն բարու և չարի միջև, Աստծու ձայնի ճանաչում և կանչի ունկնդրություն: Չէ՞ որ մենք սովոր ենք տեսնել այն, ինչ մեր աչքերն են տեսում, զգալ այն, ինչ ձեռքերն են շոշոփում:
Սակայն կամա, թե ակամա գալիս է այն պահը, երբ յուրաքանչյուր մարդ արարած ի վերջո ցանկանում է իրեն տեսնել այդ հարաբերության մեջ և գլուխը բարձրացնում է վեր, պարզում է իր ձեռքերը` ակնկալելով Բարձրյալի զորության ներգործությունն իր կյանքում: Այդ հարթության մեջ է, որ կարող է ճշմարտապես կառուցվել և իմաստավորվել քրիստոնյայի կյանքը: Եթե մեր կյանքից վերանում է կյանքի և իրերի այդ ընկալումը, ապա ամեն ինչ ապարդյուն է:
«Նախ դու խոստովանի´ր քո անօրենությունները, որ արդարացվես»: Սա կարևոր մի պարագա է, որտեղ նաև երևում է այդ աներևույթ պայմանը մարդու և Աստծու միջև միության, որով մենք հաղորդ ենք դառնում Աստծու շնորհին, հատուցմանը, ողորմությանը: Սակայն պետք է ամբողջ սրտով և հոգով, սրբության անկեղծ ձգտումով զղջանք, ապաշխարենք, ապա խոստովանենք, որպեսզի կարողանանք Աստծու կողմից արդարացվել:
Մեծ պահքի այս օրը մեզ համար մասնավոր հրավեր է մարդկային անարդարությունից և անօրենությունից դեպի Աստծու արդարություն:
