Ведущие архитекторы мира разрабатывают футуристический проект самодостаточного комплекса, включающий в себя жилые блоки и технологии получения альтернативной энергии.

Grand Cancun - концепт грандиозной экоплатформы.
Архитектор Richard Moreta Castillo представил смелый проект под названием Grand Cancun. Предполагается, что к 50-й годовщине основания Канкуна (крупного курортного города в Мексике) в 2020 году построят масштабный экокомплекс на воде. Он будет включать в себя отели, рестораны, кинотеатры и прочую развлекательную инфраструктуру. Наряду с этим, там же будут находиться «продвинутые» технологии, генерирующие энергию солнца, ветра и воды.

Разрабатывая этот проект, архитектор руководствовался мыслью решить различные проблемы экологического характера, от которых сейчас страдает город.

Фотоэлектрические панели установят практически по всей поверхности комплекса. Вертикальные ветрогенераторы будут сопутствовать каждому жилому блоку, расположенному на башне. Подводные турбины смогут вырабатывать электроэнергию, благодаря приливам и отливам. Но самой главной «эко-фишкой» Grand Cancun станет мини-завод по опреснению морской воды. Вместе с этим он будет отфильтровывать мельчайшие частицы мусора.
