Այս նրբակազմ աղջիկը ժամանակին մոտավորապես 130 կգ էր կշռում։ Նա հավաքարար էր աշխատում Դուբլինի մարզասրահներից մեկում։ Ջեյդ Դելանին ընդամենը 21 տարեկան է, սակայն ճարպակալման հետևանքով նա իր տարիքից զգալիոիրեն ավելի մեծ էր երևում։ Քանի որ Ջեյդը աշխատում էր մարզասրահում, նա բազմաթիվ մարզիչների էր ճանաչում։ Մի օր նա որոշեց օգնություն խնդրել իր մարզիչ գործընկերներից, ու վերջիններս համաձայնվեցին օգնել նրան նիհարելու դժվարին գործում։ Կամքի ուժի, համառ մարզումների ու առողջ սննդակարգի օգնությամբ նա կարողացավ նիհարել ավելի քան 50 կգ։ Աղջկա թաղամասի մարդկանցից ոմանք այնքան անկիրթ ու անտակտ էին, որ նրան ծանակում էին ու անվանում «կոլոլակ»։ Աղջկա նիհարելուց հետո էլ անտակտներն անտակտ էլ մնացին, իսկ Ջեյդին այդպես էլ չհաջողվեց ձերբազատվել մականուններից։ Պարզապես նիհարելուց հետո «Կոլոլակ» մականունը փոխարինվեց «Գզըզ» (հավի մանրեցված կտորներով աղցանի անվանում) մականվամբ։

Հարցազրույցներից մեկի ընթացքում Ջեյդն ասել է.

Ես ողջ ժամանակ շրջապատված էի ֆիթնեսի մարզիչներով։ Ես սկսեցի նրանց սննդակարգի վերաբերյալ հարցեր տալ։ Մի օր մարզիչներից մեկն ինձ սննդակարգի ծրագիր տվեց, որին ես պետք է հետևեի քաշ կորցնելու համար։ Ես հետևեցի նրա խորհուրդներին ու հաշված շաբաթներում քաշի անկում նկատեցի։ Հաջորդ քայլս ֆիզիկական մարզումներին մասնակցելն էր։

Ջեյդը սկսեց նիհարելու փորձերը 2013 թ.-ի դեկտեմբերին։ Այդ ժամանակ նա 20 չափսի հագուստ էր կրում, սակայն ընդամենը մեկ տարում նա հասել էր 11-րդ չափսին։ Նրա աշխատանքը նույնն է մնացել, միայն թե նա արդեն սովորականից ավելի վաղ է արթնանում, որպեսզի հասցնի նախքան հավաքարարությամբ զբաղվելը մարզվել դեռևս դատարկ մարզասրահում։

ս այլևս չեմ ցանկանում վերադառնալ նախկին կենսակերպիս։ Ես ցանկանում եմ աջակցել մարդկանց ու ոգեշնչել նրանց, որպեսզի նրանք կարողանան գրանցել այն արդյունքը, որն ինձ հաջողվել է գրանցել։

Անշուշտ Ջեյդը չի պատրաստվում ողջ կյանքում հավաքարարությամբ ապրուստ վաստակել։ Սեպտեմբերին նա կընդունվի Իռլանդիայի քոլեջներից մեկը՝ այնտեղ ավելի խորությամբ ֆիթնես ուսումնասիրելու համար։ Նա պատրաստվում է ֆիթնեսի մարզիչ դառնալ։ Նա արդեն ֆիթնես բլոգ է բացել, որում ամեն օր տեղադրում է տեսանյութեր ու լուսանկարներ, որոնցում պատկերված են իր մարզումները և իր պատրաստած սննդամթերքները։ Ջեյդն այս կերպ փորձում է ոգեշնչել ճարպակալմամբ տառապող այն մարդկանց, որոնք կորցրել են նիհարելու հույսը։
