Չինացի դերասան Ջեկի Չանը ժամանելու Է Հնդկաստան՝ նկարահանելու Է իր նոր «Կունգ-ֆու յոգա» ֆիլմը: Այդ մասին  նա պատմել Է ԻԱՆՍ լրատվական գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում:

Ֆիլմն առաջին համատեղ նախագիծը կդառնա այդ երկու երկրների կինոյում: Համապատասխան պայմանավորվածությունը ձեռք Էր բերվել անցած սեպտեմբերին, երբ Նյու Դելի Էր ժամանել ՉԺՀ-ի նախագահ Սի Ցզինպինը: Ժապավենի սյուժեն եւ Էկրան բարձրանալու ամսաթիվը դեռեւս չի ճշտվում: Հայտնի Է, որ այն համատեղելու Է կատակերգության եւ մարտաֆիլմի տարրեր, ինչպես Չանի մասնակցությամբ մյուս ֆիլմերի մեծ մասը («Աստծո ասպազենքը», «Ոստիկանական պատմություն»-ը):

Չանի խոսքով՝ «Կունգ-ֆու յոգա» ֆիլմի նկարահանումները կարող են սկսվել արդեն աշնանը: Թե ում հետ Է նա պատրաստվում աշխատել նկարահանումների ընթացքում, նույնպես չի բացահայտվում: Դերասանը նաեւ ասել Է, որ կարող Է նկարահանվել Բոլիվուդում, եթե իրեն հետաքրքիր սցենար առաջարկեն: «Ես կինոն չեմ բաժանում, օրինակ, Բոլիվուդի եւ Հոլիվուդի: Ինձ համար գլխավորը սցենարն Է»,-հավելել Է նա:

Ինչպես նշում Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը, Չեկի Չանը հնդիկ կինեմատոգրաֆիստների հետ համատեղ աշխատանքի փորձ արդեն ունի: 2005 թվականին նրա հետ միասին «Առասպել» ֆիլմում նկարահանվել Է բոլիվուդյան դերասանուհի Մալիկա Շերավաթը:

Ավելի վաղ նրա գլխավոր դերակատարությամբ հնդկական Էկրաններ Էր դուրս եկել «Վիշապի սուրը» նոր ֆիլմը, որի գործողությունները ծավալվում են Հին Չինաստանում՝ Հան դինաստիայի կառավարման ժամանակներում: Ֆիլմում Չանին ընկերակցել են դերասաններ Ջոն Կյուսակը («2012») եւ Էդրիեն Բրոուդին («Դաշնակահարը»):
