ԿԳ նախարարի մամուլի խոսնակ Զոհրապ Եգանյանը Facebook սոցցանցի իր էջում գրել է.

«Շատ տարօրինակ է, որ Ծիծառնակաբերդում դպրոցների կողմից իրակացվող պատվո պահակի միջոցառումները ՖԲ օգտատերերի մի հատվածի կողմից ենթարկվեցին քննադատության: Պատվո պահակի գաղափարը լայնորեն կիրառվում է աշխարհի շատ երկրներում (ԱՄՆ, Մեծ Բրիտանիա, Ֆրանսիա և այլ) և զոհերի հիշատակը հարգելու յուրօրինակ ձև է: Երեկ հանդիպեցի բազմաթիվ գրառումների, որտեղ մեր ավագ սերնդի ներկայացուցիչները հպարտորեն հիշում էին, թե ինչպես 60-70 ական թվականներին իրենք ևս պատվո պահակ են կանգնել Ծիծեռնակաբերդում: Իրականում ինձ համար շատ դժվար է բառեր կգտնել, որպեսզի նկարագրեմ, թե ինչի համար չարժի քննադատել այս նախաձեռնությունը և ավելին՝ պետք է հանդես գալ նման այլ նախաձեռնություններով: Ասեմ ավելին՝ մենք պետք է նույնիսկ մեղադրենք ԿԳՆ ին այն բանի համար, որ նման նախաձեռնություն չի եղել ավելի վաղ:

Խնդրում եմ, եկեք զերծ մնանք ու չքաղաքականացնենք ամեն ինչ ինչ պատահում է մեր ճանապարհին, չփնտրենք ամեն ինչում վատը, անկախ մեր հայացքներից ու տարբեր մարդկանց հանդեպ ունեցած մեր սուբյեկտիվ վերաբերմունքից: Զարմանալի է, որ հայոց զեհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշակոթողի մոտ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելը կարող է ծաղրի կամ քննադատության առիթ տալ ջարդերից մազապուրծ եղած սերունդների զավակների, շատ տարօրինակ է ժող ջան, մենք մեր նախնիների հիշատակը հարգելու դեմ չպետք է ոչինչ ունենք, ամոթ է»:
