Model Jana is barely visible as she reclines atop a door frame in the ruins of a building in the rustic setting of an estate in Behrensen, Lower Saxony in Germany

This unsuspecting man going about his business on the toilet doesn't seem to have noticed Jana just round the corner, painted so she blends into the wall and the door

The model painted to look like a wrought iron gate. Bodypaint artist Jörg Düsterwald has been creating such displays for 20 years

Pre-painted with a background shade, the model is placed against an item before Jörg adds details that will help to camouflage her using his portable paint kit

Jana appears to disappear completely into the stone wall as she dozes. Jörg's work has featured in several art magazines and in 2008 he was named German brush-painting champion at a national competition

The photo shoots take several hours to complete and are heavily planned before the artist arrives at the location with the model

Besides this rustic setting, Jörg has also painted models into a number of other backdrops, including car garages, music shops and fishing ports
