New Website Tells You If Your Significant Other Is Cheating on Tinder

Want to find out whether your partner is sneakily using Tinder behind your back?
You could, of course, log on to the app and swipe until you spot him, or rely on intel from your non-committed friends. But the faster option is a new website that lets you search through Tinder users.
The website, Swipebuster, which rolled out last week, charges $4.99 for three searches. You type in a person's first name, age and gender, and then indicate where he or she is likely using Tinder. Within seconds, the website returns the results, including profile pictures, the last time he or she logged on, and whether this person is seeking men or women. It'll even show you all the results from a specific geographic area.
According to Vanity Fair, Swipebuster taps into publicly available information about its users. "There is too much data about people that people themselves don't know is available," the site's creator told Vanity Fair. (He's trying to remain anonymous, but said he's a newlywed who's never been cheated on.) "Not only are people oversharing and putting out a lot of information about themselves, but companies are also not doing enough to let people know they're doing it."
He's hoping Tinder will notice and make all of this information private.
As for Tinder, a spokeswoman told Vanity Fair in a statement that "searchable information on the Web site is public information that Tinder users have on their profiles. If you want to see who's on Tinder we recommend saving your money and downloading the app for free."
