Beyoncé Is Not Here for Your Feyoncé Puns

Given the extreme popularity of Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, it's not surprising that a lot of people like to call themselves a "feyoncé" when they get engaged. It's a lot more fun than the real word, and it allows you to pretend that you are somehow connected to Bey for at least a few months (whatever it takes to get you through the hell of planning a wedding). But if you're thinking about selling any merchandise with "Feyoncé" emblazoned on it, you better think again.CNN reports that the Queen is suing a Texas-based company that sells clothing and other items that say "Feyoncé" and in one instance, "Feyoncé: He Put a Ring On It." 

The lawsuit claims that the company has "willfully traded upon the goodwill and notoriety of Beyoncé" and that the products cause "immediate and irreparable harm" to her. It also notes that Feyoncé had previously received cease and desist letters asking them to stop selling their unauthorized Beyoncé wares. According to BBC News, Bey is seeking unspecified damages that include profits the company has made from their products. To the feyoncés of the future: There's always puff paint!
