Армяно-российский центр гуманитарного реагирования откроется в феврале-марте 2016 года, сообщил министр территориального управления и по чрезвычайным ситуациям Армении Армен Ерицян на заседании правительства 4 февраля.

«Инвестиции российской стороны составили $34 млн. В этом году будет получено технических средств на $6 млн», - сказал Ерицян, передает АРКА.

Главы МЧС России и Армении заключили межправительственное соглашение об открытии совместного Учебно-спасательного центра на территории республики 19 мая 2015 года.

«В состав Российско-армянского центра гуманитарного реагирования… войдут все системы реагирования, включая авиационные технологии. Мы начинаем уже формирование центра, в нем будет все необходимое для реагирования на крупные ЧС, такие как землетрясения, наводнения или ЧС техногенного характера», — заявил глава МЧС РФ Владимир Пучков.

Центр позволит оперативно и эффективно реагировать на чрезвычайные ситуации на приграничных территориях обоих государств, а также в третьих странах.

В центре будут также готовить и повышать квалификацию специалистов в области предупреждения ликвидации чрезвычайных ситуаций, а также гуманитарного разминирования.
