Կոմիտասի թանգարան-ինստիտուտը անընդունելի է համարում Վարդապետի շուրջ մշակութային մոնոպոլիա ձևավորելը, ողջունում է նրա գործունեությունը հանրահռչակող ցանկացած միջոցառում: Փառատոններն ու միջոցառումները պարզապես պետք է կազմակերպել այնպես, որ միմյանց չխանգարեն: Թանգարան-ինստիուտի ներկայացուցիչներն այս մասին ասացին՝ լրագրողի հարցին ի պատասխան:

«Եվ Հայաստանում և աշխարհում Կոմիտաս որքան կատարվի, այնքան մեր բոլորի շահերից է բխում: Այլ խնդիր է, թե յուրաքանչյուր միջոցառում ինչ խնդիր է իր հետևից տանում: Որպես թանգարան՝ մեր խնդիրը Կոմիտասի ժառանգությունը այն ֆորմատով ներկայացնելն է, որ և պետական ձևաչափը և առհասարակ մշակութային ուղղությունները համապատասխանեն մեր ինքնության և Վարդապետի գործունեությանը: Ամեն մեկն իր կողմից ուզում է ներկայացնել Կոմիտասին, ես դրա մեջ վատ բան չեմ տեսնում»-ասաց թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Նիկոլայ Կոստանդյանը:

Նրա խորին համոզմամբ՝ Վարդապետի 150-ամյակը կհամախմբի բոլորին, որ ներկայանան միասնական : Նա թանգարան-ինստիտուտը համարեց Կոմիտասի ժառանգության և գործունեության համախմբման սիմվոլիզմը։  «Թանգարան-ինստիտուտը կփորձի համախմբել իր շուրջ բոլոր այն մարդկանց, ովքեր իրենց մեջ կրում են Կոմիտասին, նրա երաժշտությունը»,-նշեց Կոստանդյանը:

Կոմիտասի թանգարան-ինստիտուտի գիտական խորհրդի նախագահ Մհեր Նավոյանը շեշտեց՝ Կոմիտասի շուրջ չի կարելի ձևավորել մշակութային մոնոպոլիա: «Կոմիտասը ողջ ազգի մասշտաբով վերափոխում է իրականացրել: Ինչպե՞ս կարող ենք նրա շուրջ մենաշնորհ ձևավորել: Խնդիրն այն է, որ այն միջոցառումները, որոնք իրականացվում են, արվեն այնպես, որ մեկը մյուսին չխանգարեն»,-նկատեց Նավոյանը:

Որպես լավ օրինակ հիշեց ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարությունն իրականացրած փառատոնը, նշեց՝ դրանում ոչ մի խնդիր չկար: Ընդամենը պետք է ձևակերպումներն այնպես անել, որ բարի ցանկությունները չխոչընդոտեն միմյանց: Նավոյանը շեշտեց՝ թանգարան-ինստիտուտի կողմից իրականացվող «Կոմիտաս» փառատոնում  Վարդապետի երաժշտությունը հնչելու է իր բնագրային հիմքի վրա: «Դա նաև այս հաստատությունում է այսպես, խորհուրդն է այդպես որոշել: Թանգարան-ինստիտուտը Կոմիտասի ժառանգությունն ուսումնասիրելու, անաղարտ պահելու, հանրահռչակելու օջախն է»,-ասաց Նավոյանն ու հավելեց՝ ակադեմիական մաքրության տեսակետից են մոտենում Կոմիտասի ժառանգությանը:
