Ամուլսարում հայտնաբերվել են ուրան, թորիում եւ արսեն: Այս մասին այսօր` սեպտեմբերի 14-*ին ֆեյսբուքյան ուղիղ եթերով ասաց S.O.S. խմբի անդամ Հայկ Բարսեղյանը, որը երեկ հայտարարել էր, որ մասնագետների հետ գնալու են Ամուլսար ստուգումներ իրականացնելու:

«Մեր հանձնարարությունն այն է եղել, որ կարողանանք առաջին հերթին ստուգել 1952-1954 թթ հետազոտություններն Ամուլսարի տարածքում ուրանի քանակի վերաբերյալ: Մյուս խնդիրն այն է եղել, թե որ մասում է ուրանը: Ես հիմա իմ ձեռքի տակ, հեռախոսիսի մեջ ունեմ բոլոր փաստերը, ուրան կա Ամուլսարում ու կա շատ. ավելի շատ ուրան կա, քան ոսկի, սա գիտականորեն ապացուցված է, ոչ թե իմ խոսքերով: Այդ մասին հրապարակվելու է, տեղեկացվելու է նաև ՀՀ վարչապետը: Պարզվեց, որ բացի ուրանից կա լիքը թորիում ու արսեն: Եվ հետաքրքիրն այն է, որ հետազոտել ենք ոչ թե հանքի կոնկրետ տարածքը, այլ հանքի ամբողջ շրջագիծը, և պարզվում է, որ ուրանը շատ է: Եթե հանքը շահագործվի, միայն ջրի հետ չի խնդիրը, բոլոր պայթյունների ժամանակ օդ է դուրս գալու սարսափելի քանակով ուրանի փոշի»,- ասաց նա` նշելով, որ կան տեղեր, որ մեկ տոննա գրունտի մեջ կա 200 գրամ ուրան:
