Հայաստանում խոսում են  Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունների կարգավորման մասին,  մինչդեռ մյուս կողմը շարունակում է  ռազմատենչ և աբսուրդի հանսող հայտարարությունները այս մասին: Լրատվական ռադիոյի եթերում հայտարարել է «Լուսավոր Հայաստան» կուսակցության ղեկավար Էդմոն Մարուքյանը։  

Հարցին, թե  արդյոք  մեր իշխանությունների կողմից ճիշտ մոտեցում է խոսել Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերություններ  սկսելու մասին, պատգամավորը պատասխանել է․ «Գիտեք սա ինձ հիշեցնում է ժամանակին եղած այն հայտարարությունները, որ Հայաստանում խոսում էին փոխզիջումների մասին, իսկ Ադրբեջանում խոսում էին իրենց խնդիրները լուծելու ու այսպես կոչված իրենց տարածքները վերցնելու մասին, իսկ Հայաստանում խոսում էին փոխզիջումների մասին։ Եվ այնքան խոսեցին, իսկ Ադրբեջանը որևէ կերպ զիջողական քաղաքականության մասին որևէ խոսք  չէր ասում, որ մենք այսօրվան հանգեցինք։ Հիմա նորից նույն բանն է`  Հայաստանում խոսում են հարաբերությունների կարգավորման մասին,  մինչդեռ մյուս կողմը շարունակում է  ռազմատենչ և աբսուրդի հանսող հայտարարություններն։ Օրինակ,  եկեք Զանգեզուրում ներդրումներ արեք,  դա նույնն է, որ  ես  մարդկանց կոչ անեմ՝ եկեք  Բաքվում ներդրումներ արեք, մեր պատմական Բաքվում, որը մերն է։ Այսինքն, երբ  Ալիևը այսպիսի հայտարարություններ է անում  կամ Թուրքիայի ղեկավարությունը նման հայտարարություններին ծափահարում է, ապա Հայաստանում ինչի մասին են խոսում։ Ապրիլի 24-ից առաջ ընդհանրապես տեղին չի նման խոսակցությունները, որովհետև եթե ինչ-որ մի երկրում, ինչ-որ մի պառլամենտում,  ինչ-որ մի բանաձև  պետք է ընդունվեր ընդդեմ Թուրքիայի, Հայաստանի պաշտոնյաների հայտարարությունները օգտագործվելու են թուրքերի կողմից՝ թուրքական լոբիի և ադրբեջանական լոբիի կողմից, որ որևէ բանաձև  ապրիլի 24-ին սպասող  չնդունվի։ Մենկաբանվելով, որ կողմերը արդեն իրար հետ լեզու են գտնում և  դուք որպես  երրորդ կողմ ինչու եք միջամտում այդ հարցերին»։  

Անդրադառնալով  այն հարցին, որ արդյոք այս հայտարարություններից  հետո Հայաստանին այլևս լուրջ չեն վերաբերի  Էդմոն Մարուքյանը պատասխանել է․ «Դա միայն Հայաստանի այլ  Սփյուռքի պահանջն է։ Հայաստանը  այդ երկրների պառլամենտում լոբինգ չի անում, այլ դա մեր Սփյուռքն է, մեր Սփյուռքի կազմակերպություններն են լոբինգ անում  և եթե մարդիկ տեսնում են, որ երկու հարևաններ արդեն իրար հետ խոսում են, դրա շնորհիվ արդեն այդ ամբողջ պրոցեսը կկանգնի։ Մինչդեռ հնարավոր է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներից սկսած  նախագահական նոր ադմինիստրացյան հայտարարություն աներ։ Այսինքն, այս իմաստով գոնե  մինչև ամսի 24-ը մեր պաշտոնյաները չպետք է որևէ հայտարարություն անեն  սրա հետ կապված»։
